Ospreys tight head got dropped by a late, head high "tackle" by loose head Stankovich. It's a yellow minimum like Quinnell said.

Big hard man obviously Boris, blindsiding somebody.

Another refereeing injustice against the Welsh, is it?

Anyway, why are the Os disguised as Quins?

Either the tv camera is always oddly angled, or the officials aren't remotely interested in straight line outs. Haven't seen many straight off either team.

The Ospreys kit is a one off charity kit, featuring the colours of the four premiership teams within their region, and it to support the very cancer hospital that is treating Matthew Rees at the moment.

Ospreys getting the wrong end of the ref in this first half, the Tigers are holding onto the ball for as long as they like during the rucks, and their line out throwing has been one sided, but the Ospreys are staying in there.

Harry Ellis is still a Tiger clearly. He doesn't just hit him on the chin, he leaves his arm in too. Stankovich should get a ban, the TMO and ref should get a telling off for not punishing that sufficiently.

He will more than likely get cited for it, but for me it was a straight red, Joe Rhys did not even have the ball, so how the feck can you call it a late tackle ?

Look at the head of the tighthead, it doesn't snap back or shudder under the impact. He's pulled off the ball around the shoulder with the arm rising under the chin which catches under the player's head and must supress a nerve. Really strange one as there's no real impact on the head.

Has been a good open game so far. Ref letting a lot go for both teams. Re the call on the forward pass you can clearly see the ref point towards the TJ and say that's where the decision came from.

I cannot not watch this game anymore, thus referee is diabolical, these are young kids playing here and he is letting the Leicester player do what ever they like at the rucks, this game is now a pile of crap.

Re the EQ there's four non EQ in the starting 15 in Hamilton, Scully, Noone and Williams. There's another two non EQ on the bench in Mele (our only fly half cover over the age of 18 left) and academy tighthead Pazquele who's an Italian age grade player.

There's 4 19/20 year olds in the starting lineup in the two centres, the hooker Thacker (who is having a stormer) and lock Joe Cain. The experienced players are there because they need game time.

Really can't understand the signing of Owen Williams by the Tigers. Hasn't impressed me when I've seen him & there must have been better options?
I know he was rated in Wales but he should be running this game with the Tigers forwards in total control & things just aren't happening for him.

Its a good game. Plenty of intent. Plenty of back and forth. 1st half was a good close contest. But Leicester's pack has dominated the 2nd half so far, so the Welsh are a bit quiet! Smile

They signed him because they needed a 10, and he had previously sunk Tigers in West Wales. He was good then, hasn't looked good tonight. I can only blame Leicester for this. He was transitioning very well with Scarlets.

Generally the pressure from the Tigers pack has forced the pens.

Second half is all Tigers though & I think the mix of good quality youngsters & experienced players is proving too much for the young Ospreys side.

It's not a bad game, it's just that this ref is very, very biased, he has just pinged the Ospreys scrum for the hooker having his foot up when Leicester are doing what ever they want all game.

Tigers not let go of the ball once every break down all in off their feet from the side blockers around runners!
Jaw dropping officiating.

Williams needs to back himself a bit more, too often he sits back a bit too much, or is caught in two minds as to what to do. He has talent. But he needs some time, and hopefully a slightly better team than we have been able to surround him with in recent weeks.

First half was a great contest, real end to end stuff. Second half, Tigers have been dominant with Harrison and Williams showing a good deal more control.

Williams is showing slow improvments and will continue to develop the he plays and adapts to the way Tigers want him to play.

If Thacker isn't man of the match I'll be surprised.

FFS, these refs are all a joke, I challenge any decent Leicester supporter to come on here and tell me that that try was firstly grounded and secondly not a double movement. Come on, convince me that the ref has not been one sided in this game.

You'll find most cities are exactly that. One of the guys is an Italian age grade player, which suggests he grew up and learnt his trade in Italy. Not sure where the other guy came from. Perhaps this is what happened with a certain, promising Samoan centre who actually never went on to play for Samoa...

Tigers hold coaching courses over large parts of the globe. Pasquele was spotted in Italy and given a scholarship. Given he started last season as an under 18 and ended up as the Italy under 20s first choice tighthead. Not really poaching as it's developing players for the future and Italy are benefitting as well. He's been in England for quite a long time I think,
