Morning all - Hows things?
Quick question around posting time - What time do you want the show tomorrow?
I know in the past we have been sporadic with our posting but to uniform our approach I thought I would ask the question

I would like to aim for a 6pm time to start - Does that sound ok?
Obviously this is dependant on outside factors coming together

I'm also on a long shift tomorrow so won't be back until later, I'd say though that around 7 or 8 seems like a good time to post, by then people have started to settle down after work so there will be people reading along live.

Re: Out of character chat v6
It is easier for me to post from work as I have a PC. Doing it using a tablet in a hotel room is a bit fiddly. I am usually in the office till at least 7 so that timeframe works for me
Really excited with this show, can't put my finger on exactly why but have really enjoed putting it together

Re: Out of character chat v6
I think going with what's easiest is the best option as it's less likely that something will go wrong, I only really said 8 because it means I'll be home and ready to read along as I find it too tempting to skip to my parts when the whole thing is posted.

Re: Out of character chat v6
I think it's only natural for people at first to skip to the bits with their wrestlers in, hopefully most people then read the whole show
Although sometimes it's clear when they don't

Anytime works for me, if it's afternoon I can kill some time at work, if it's evening I can occupy myself while the wife watches the soaps!

In my old job I could have easily sat back and read through the show on a quiet day, sadly...the job I'm in now doesn't ever really have quiet days and you're not allowed your phone on you.

My job is a strange one - I am always busy but there are no real metrics to show what I have done - A lot of my job is meeting with people and walking them through processes and providing on site support and issue management

I definitely read my segments first, then the parts my characters are in. After that it takes me a day or two to read the show.

Sorry guys, haven't had a chance to promo. Work has gone crazy busy and we have been told the jobs may not be safe. I've been knocking up appication forms this week and completely forgot the show was tomorrow!

I apologise in advance to Steel and whoever writes for Daniels. I am currently mid match write up and I'm afraid it isn't brilliant. I've had no time free as its busiest time of year in work and been doing 65 hours a week in work so had no time to do anything so its all very last minute

Is it strange that even though I know what is happening on the show I marked out when proof reading a particular section?

Awesome looking card - great poster too!
Hope people are liking what they see of Mr. Harris so far - always a bit of a struggle to establish a character with nobody to promo against but this weeks show has given me something to build from!

Re: Out of character chat v6
I know EWF and 6CW merged and are seen as equal entities, but can I ask the thinking behind the 6CW Title in a Hell in a Cell not closing the 6CW PPV? I can only put it down to a staggering ending to the EWF title match, but it still puzzles me a little.

Re: Out of character chat v6
6CW Championship closed out the last PPV, EWF Championship takes its turn for this one. I know Hell in a Cell is a gimmick that usually would close out a show but I think the promos from Enforcer/Wood/Thunder in the last month justify a final match for this show. I am willing to hold my hands up if it doesn't work out but we are satisfied with the order.

Re: Out of character chat v6
It wasn't a slight on EWF, and I agree the promos have been outstanding and the storyline is fascinating, its just the fact a World Title Hell in a Cell didn't headline.

Re: Out of character chat v6
I know it was no slight mate, I definitely understand your question and I admit it is a head scratcher when you first see it.
It was touch and go and the decision was only made early today about which one would headline.

Re: Out of character chat v6
Morning everybody,
QOTD: If your wrestlers that you e-fed as were real, where in the world do you think they'd wrestle and how well do you think they'd do?
I think I asked this a while back maybe in EWF but I thought I'd re-ask it now the fed has grown and we have a few more people on board...Also JJ and Paul, I sent you a PM about something that was on my mind, would love to know what you think, cheers.
Liam Wood: I picture him as a guy who would have come up through the indie scene before being picked up by WWE. First being on NXT before going up to the main roster and having a tag title run with someone like Corey Graves (due to them having similar images) then taking a minor title before possibly having a run with one of the major titles (I am biased though)
Edward Plague: I picture him as a guy who would have done well in the Attitude Era, his whole psychotic gimmick wouldn't go down as well in the PG Era...Bray Wyatt makes it but I feel that Plague is a step above the sickness of Wyatt (You'll have to wait and find out about that though ) I think because of that he'd probably end up doing well for companies like CZW and other OTT hardcore federations.

Re: Out of character chat v6
Unfortunately I don't atch much wrestling and when I do its WWE so I'm a bit restricted on were I picture them
I see gazzy as a character WWE would have loved during the transition of the Attitude into whatever the hell era we're in now. I imagine during the attitude era he would have been in one of the most over tag teams (as he was here with The Untouchables) and then eventually pushed way over his talent probably warrants, kinda like Jeff Hardy, not great but was loved because of his high flying balls to the wall style
As for Phillips I'm not quite sure where I would place him. I think I need to develop him more before I could really allign him anywhere. I think there a slight changes I wish I had done when I created the charcter which might have helped make a choice

Just to let anyone know who writes for the shows I've updated Thunder's profile, he has a few new moves and other changes but, the other changes are more in tune with what's been shown from Thunder during the shows. There's also a little advice for writing Thunder.

Viper you bothering with TLC later? Think although everyone hated that it was cena and orton main eventing now that we're at the PPV I am genuinely intrigued as to what happens

Re: Out of character chat v6
Sadly, I'm working a late shift tomorrow and the idea of going to bed at 4 to wake up and start work at 1:30 does not sound fun...that being said, I accidentally let myself stay up till 5 this morning and woke up at 9:30 and I feel pretty good despite that fact.
I'll probably read a review tomorrow and then if I can be bothered catch up with it after the shift.

Re: Out of character chat v6
I have a bad feeling it's just going to tell me what I already knew, that the WWE Title was just being kept for Mr John Cena...I know he's popular but to give him a WHC match as his comeback match followed instantly by a WWE title shot in what I think is his second official defence of the World Title (plus allowing him to be the first person to cleanly defeat the person with the MITB briefcase) is a joke.
Hopefully I'm wrong and Cena gets screwed by the Authority...it's a shame that he's going to take the spotlight as the guy to bring them down but it's better than him getting everything in the space of like a month and a half.
