Pac in tax trouble...
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-11-26/manny-pacquiao-has-assets-frozen/5118520
He has had his assets frozen in the Philippine’s. 54 million and change, apparently. Poor Pac, I hope this doesnt lead to him ending up skint.

you would think after all the money he has made Arum, he would get him a decent accountant to take care of his affairs. he has only been a huge meal ticket for Arum over the years. Clearly Manny doesn't know how to take care of his own finances. Hope he sorts it. Deserves his riches.

Re: Pac in tax trouble...
To be honest Sean, not sure many promoters want their fighters to have their financial affairs in order. A guy like Manny could certainly have had enough money in the bank to never work again at least since the Hatton fight with good advice and probably well before that. Problem for Arum is if this is the case what happens if Manny wakes up one morning and decides he has had enough of the work and effort and decides to jack it in?
Far better to have him needing the next payday and always needing one more fight.

Doubt he'll be in any trouble. Politiucal jostling I suspect. They did this to the Man City owner didn't they? Or was that Thailand.....

Re: Pac in tax trouble...
The Filipino IRS has placed a lien on Manny's home. And apparently only $25, 000 has been taken. I must be honest, I struggle to think Pacquaio managed to fight six fights in Vegas without getting taxed for it, as I was under the assumption that the money is already taxed before a fighter receives it... as was the case in Alvarez-Lopez, when NSAC revealed purses and taxes on with fighters.
