Former U20 partners Evans and Lee starting. I look forward to seeing what they're capable of against a big scrum unit.

Re: clermont v scarlets double header
Looks like another game ruined by poor officiating at the break down,Clermont any angle, off feet, with a wall off blockers two meters ahead of the ruck.
i give up, looks like we are going the way of football, you will be officiated by your teams net worth! the more in awe the ref is the more he will let you get away with it.

Re: clermont v scarlets double header
The Scarlets have literally been doing the same thing. The referee is allowing the breakdown to be contested fairly, if it goes too far he has blown his whistle for both sides.DeludedOptimistorjustDave wrote:Looks like another game ruined by poor officiating at the break down,Clermont any angle, off feet, with a wall off blockers two meters ahead of the ruck.

The little exchange at the scrum descirbes Doyle nicely. "Don't step over my mark. Now you're too far away"

Missile lauching themselves into the rucks now, he has got to sort out these blockers beyond the ruck its getting stupid now.

Its ok don't check if he was in front of the kicker. Oh look replay after the try was awarded show he was.
Who cares any way? look at the ref,he is having fun he is celebrating the try with them.

Compare that to a great performance by young Patchell last night, but we all know who will be selected for the 6Nations as back up to Biggar.Artful_Dodger wrote:According to the stats, Priestland missed 6 out of 14 tackles.

With all due respect to Glasgow they aren't a Clermont(at home)IronMike wrote:Compare that to a great performance by young Patchell last night, but we all know who will be selected for the 6Nations as back up to Biggar.Artful_Dodger wrote:According to the stats, Priestland missed 6 out of 14 tackles.

No, but Glasgow have been pretty exceptional lately and to insinuate they aren't all that is just highly ignorant of their improving form over the past few season.

Its doesnt matter if they were playing the All Blacks, an international Fly half should not be missing almost half of his tacklesBigTrevsbigmac wrote:With all due respect to Glasgow they aren't a Clermont(at home)IronMike wrote:Compare that to a great performance by young Patchell last night, but we all know who will be selected for the 6Nations as back up to Biggar.Artful_Dodger wrote:According to the stats, Priestland missed 6 out of 14 tackles.

Patchell made 10 tackles missed 4 against a pretty dire half hearted Glasgow side tonight, what's your view on that Golden

Come on Scarlets, a draw would be lovely, but I'd take a home win

Clermont like last week blocking all infront of the ruck, stamping on whom ever they want! all unpunished by div head Barnes.

He was selected at centre......... he played centre. I somehow don't think he was playing out of position
