We appear to accidentally changed to naming obscure players whose first and last names begin with the same letter.

Which makes me think of Lars Leese

He is not top of the Premier League quality, but neither are Norwich and he is an improvement on what they have.

Also, he plays in loads of positions and given their injuries, that has got to be a good thing for them.

Yeah I think part of that is true, some bias from Zidane but Pogba would still of been ideal to replace Scholes.
I like Nick Powell, though he may of been back with us but Moyes is letting him stay at Wigan. Lingard is back, im a fan of Jesse.

Why 2 years? Wilshere aint won it yet. His ankles will break before he gets a nomination.

I don't like thinking about Pogba, it hurts everytime someone mentions how well he is playing. I don't understand how Sir Alex let that slip oh we all make mistakes

Powell should have been bought back, how can Anderson start ahead of Powell, what's worse Anderson having been a United player for over 6 years.

Neither did Scholes, but that is the criteria that is used to judge Wilshere v Scholes. It's called Viva logic when it is illogical

Nando you don't get it do you, Januzaj is better than Wilshere no doubt about it but you fail to realise that Wilshere is not the world class player you Gunners make him out to be. So when we say Januzaj is better than Wilshere that does not mean we think he is the next George Best.

It would be relevant to me if at any point id have said Wilshere is world class. In all these times here i have not and i will not as like Adnan they both have a long way to grow, Wilshere needs to have more impact of games he goes missing when not played in his favorite position & Januzaj need to stay on his feet and find a yard of pace or defenders will suss him out quickly.

That being said currently id still take Wilshere right now, If the future Januzaj mainly cos he'll end up in Spain like Ronaldo/Suarez over treatment from refs & not enough protection.

Not at all, Jonjo Shelvey is a West Ham supporter too, but I'd take Januzaj over him.

When we say Wilshere is better than Scholes, it doesn't mean he is the next Xavi or Iniesta.

I can't remember anyone saying Wilshere was world class, just that he is better than Scholes and Januzaj. He's not better than Scholes, but streets ahead of Januzaj

Regarding Jack Wilshere, is it possible we've already seen the best of him?

Found a rouge £1 in my bag so I put it on BTTS & Win, Norwich, Wigan & Ipswich at 146/1.
Buzzin if it lands but I doubt it very much. If it wins I'll put Zlatan up for auction starting from £1m with two rounds of private bidding.

Fulham are poop, you guys are poop, one of you poopie teams has to win, well you'd think one would in normal time. Ive already said I doubt it will come in, its a long long longshot bet Olly. My main bet for tonight it more realistic.

Athletic Ballbag P-P PSV

FC Basel 1-1 Fool Em
(Villa) (Costa)

Votes: 2-1 (Schurrle, Villa) (Costa), 1-2 (Pirlo) (Costa, Volland), 1-1, 1-2, 1-0 (Villa), 2-1, 2-3, 3-2 (Matuidi, Salah, Villa) (Costa x2) = 13-12
Divided by 8 voters and rounded down = 1-1

Basel feedback:
I like the attacking approach, good to see both Terry and Jagielka playing and not injured! The midfield three would cause problems to a lot of teams. Fullbacks still need upgrading.
The front 6 is great. Really well balanced, with a bit of everything. The weakest area is at the back, especially full backs. CBs are both good, although I disagree with them being comfortable on the ball
I have given the goal to Villa because i think that he is a good winger but i think that he is even better through the middle and i think that he can score a lot of goals from this position. John Terry and Phill Jagielka make a good partnership in central defence and is one of the main reasons why i have given FC Basel the clean sheet in this match.
FC Basel G: Attacking trio worked very well to hit on the break.
FC Basel B: Fullback require upgrading.

Fool em feedback:
Big fan of the front pairing, although I feel Volland isn't as good as you seem to think he is. Upgrade him if you can. Or play Ramsey/Barkley as the AM. Cut n paste tactics cost you as you mentioned Pjanic who isn't playing. Not far away from being a real force but more effort is needed frankly.
As ever, the strength is in the front two, who will score for fun. My next improvement would be at DM and at FB
Foolem FC have a strong team and are very well set up and i particularly like the partnership of Costa and Sturridge up front as i think that they will work very well together.
FoolEm FC G: Pressing off the balled worked well for periods of the match.
FoolEm FC B: Two CB's when attacking, commit too much going forward, your always going to get caught with that. Volland used not in his best position.

Both teams' feedback:
The youthful/quicker got the better of Basel taoday, the home team despite having some v.good players lacked alot of pace especially right through thr middle and were caught out a lot
Terry and Jagielka should have been better equipped to deal with Costa and Sturridge, but I can see Pirlo and Matuidi doing well to deal with the likes of Barkley and Volland. I'd like to see both sides be a bit more specific with their tactics as neither side appears to be trying to counter the other etc. Fool Em need to improve their defense, Alex aside, but going forward they look excellent. Overall a draw is a fair result
Two solid sides. Basle nick it due to strength of wingers versus the foolem fullbacks
Thrilling match, end to end at times. Felt FC Basel nicked it in the end, FoolEm FC high line was caught out on a few occasions.

Lille 2-0 Ajax
(Remy, Pedro)

Votes: 2-2 (Pedro, Remy) (Eriksen, Lasogga), 2-2 (Sanchez, Remy) (Berardi, De Vrij), 2-0, 1-1 (Remy) (Eriksen), 2-0, 3-1, 3-1 (Sanchez, Campagnaro, Welbeck) (Lasogga), 1-0 (Pedro) = 16-7
Divided by 8 voters and rounded down = 2-0

Lille feedback:
Lille strong as ever going forward, not sure Welbeck was the right signing to add to that attack, in place of Remy maybe but they're too similar. Defensively your CB's will struggle against Lasogga. Toure and Sahin is an interesting partnership, not sure what to make of it.
Toure and Welbeck are great additions and add to the side. It gives a tremendous forward line. Sahin is a bit out of his depth alongside the rest, whilst the defence needs work as all apart from Jones look like a weak link to me
Lille are arguably one of the strongest teams in the league and this lineup today proves that in my opinion. I really like the whole team but the front 3 players stand out the most for me as i'm pretty sure that they have a lot of goals in them.
Lille G: Great pace on the attack makes Lille so dangerous going forward.
Lille B: Think the final cog's are top top CB's.
Lille GP: lot of pace in the side and skill best winger set in league
Lille BP: Defensively I feel the fullbacks need to be improved on

Ajax feedback:
Strong side, some very technically gifted footballers. Lasogga has the strength and plenty of pace around him to cause Lille problems. Your defence is good, but not sure they can cope consistently with the Lille attack. In midfield Bender is a great addition.
The side is a good one, but there is a lot of quality in this league, so losing does not mean the players aren’t rated! I like the midfield and forward line, although I’m not sure Berardi or Lasogga are of the same class as the rest
I like the build of the Ajax squad. I really enjoy seeing Eriksen in a number 10 type role as he seems to be used in the Ajax team and i think that this is a natural position for him and this also means that he can score a lot of goals from this position and set them up as well.
Ajax G: Lars Bender is a great addition. Exciting youthful front three.
Ajax B: Defense couldnt cope with Lille's attacking talents. Need an experiance leader at the back.
Ajax GP: You can see Fan is taking the team right way with The signings he has made.
Ajax BP: would like to see more natural width in the side which gives them an option

Both teams' feedback:
a tight game which look to be going lilles way until a late set piece rescued a point for ajax, both sets of teams got most joy from their wingers, Bender and clasie did a good job in helping out against the front 4, but yaya went forward a couple of times leaving sahin exposed against eriksen which lead to a goal for ajax, welbeck was a little ineffective in his ability to switch defense to attack, but remy caused the defence alot of problems, drifting about providing space for the wingers who were abvle to make use of it.
Ajax fight hard but best side in the league has too much. Yaya is the ace in the pack today
Comfortable win for Lille. There experiance & fantastic attack was too much for a young Ajax team.
Lille set up with a lot of pace and having more width which gave them space. Sahin and Toure stronger then the Ajax midfield. Ajax didn't get ball quick enough to attack.

FC WHU Do You Think You Are 1-0 Borussia Monchengladbach
(Lallana)

Votes: 2-1 (Lallana, Mandzukic) (Palacio), 1-1 (Mandzukic) (Ramos), 3-1, 2-0 (Lallana, Mandzukic), 2-1, 0-0, 1-0 (Lallana), 2-0 (Lallana, Mandzukic) = 13-4
Divided by 8 voters and rounded down = 1-0

WHU feedback:
Like the British feel to the side, well balanced side as well including the midfield trio. I feel the midfield three needs a little more creativity but other than that impressive. Ocampos and Lallana like to cut inside but with the fullbacks overlapping this isn't a major issue other than limited service to Mandzukic.
I like the midfield trio, brings a bit of everything to the party. Bit worried about on the flanks as your wide players are going to roam and your full backs will bomb on.
I really like the midfield 3 of Gerrard, Flamini and McCarthy. I think that this is a very well balanced team with a nice set of instructions. I think that Gerrard, Flamini and McCarthy are one of the main reasons that FC WHYDYTYA do not concede a goal in this match in my opinion. I think that both teams cancel each other out after a very good match between two strong sides.
FC WHYDYTYA G: Controlled the middle of the pitch for large parts of the match.
FC WHYDYTYA B: Winston Reid, that is all.
West Ham GP :Tactically Gregers had his team spot on which was a big reason on the win.
West Ham BP: need cover for Arteta as others can not fulfill his role

Gladbach feedback:
Impressive defence, back three keeps Mandzukic quiet but gives too much away to the WHU winger/fullback combo. Lacking upfront but injuries forced your hand. I like the midfield four, they would cause plenty of problems.
Guarin is a great addition and compliments Xavi and Gabi. This allowed you to more than match WHU in midfield. However, I wasn’t convinced by your formation and Sam and Palacio on the flanks didn’t provide enough cover when WHU were targeting you through their own wide men.
I think that Borussia have set up a nice midfield to match FC WHYDYTYA and i think this game will end up being 0-0. I think that both teams cancel each other out after a very good match between two strong sides.
Mönchengladbach G: Addition of Ramos up front is great, would love to see him & Benteke paired.
Mönchengladbach B: Palacio & Sam playing out of their favoured position, both naturally more attacking neglected defensive duties.
Borussia GP: very good CB which they can build the team around
Borussia BP: not the system I would have gone as some players didn't suit it.

Both teams' feedback:
Both set up well, solid back 3 for Borussia kept Mandzukic quiet most of the game, however the game faltered and became quite boring due to the conjested midfield.
A good game here with West Ham getting a lot of joy on the wings. Monchengladbach have played Palacio and Sam who are not wing backs and like to get forward, not great defensively. On the other hand, West Ham take full advantage with their wide players able to get plenty of balls into Mandzukic. Monchengladbach created chances going forward, but their side lacks goals big time going forward, their most dangerous players being the wingers but they were snuffed out. West Ham get a deserved win.
The formation just didnt work for gladbach today, the wing backs offered very little defensive protection and with west ham often doubling up, they didnt get much chance to get forward and it gave the wider centre backs too much to do and west ham capitalized on that all day long, lallana drifted iside and played a clerver 1-2 with mandy to exploit the space between the cbs and put it away, and a simple cross which left mandy 1 on 1 with hummels, whilst hummels did win that battle most of the time, the 1 time he didnt lead to a goal, on gladbachs attacking intent, xavi got on the ball alot, but west ham had the attacking option covered to effectively for him to do anything about it
Injuries may have hurt Borussia but they didn't set up well enough, don't take nothing away from Gregers who did a very good job on opposition. The formation of Borussia allowed West ham to take advantage of the wingers forced to play as wing back to a degree.

Southampton 1-1 ZwagAtletico
(Lukaku) (Ibrahimovic)

Votes: 2-2 (Lukaku x2) (Ibrahimovic, Cabaye), 2-2, 2-1 (Aubameyang, Tello) (Ibrahimovic), 1-2, 2-2 (Aubameyang, Lukaku) (Ibrahimovic x2), 1-0 (Lukaku), 2-2, 1-1 (Tello) (Ibrahimovic) = 13-12
Divided by 8 voters and rounded down = 1-1

Southampton feedback:
Medel is a good CB, just unfortunate that today you came up against the best forward in the league. On any other day, this would have probably been a draw. I like Aubameyang and Lukaku together, looks a good partnership. Hard to pick the weakest point, probably Mendy or Diame.
Saints GP: similar to man City and it looked good with the two wingers suited to the style
Saints BP: With two players sitting back they didn't have enough attack coming centrally.

Zwag feedback:
Very little between the sides today, but in Zlatan you have a match winner and he took advantage of a new CB pairing who have not played alongside each other. Oviedo looks the next improvement
Zwag GP: The team is taking shape now and with some big names the club will pull forward
Zwag BP: The defence needs some work

Both teams' feedback:
Home side quickly came out and went 2-0 up early, but the numbers in midfield soon began to count for Zwag and they dominated most of te second half
The Southampton front two gave the Zwag centre backs problems, especially with an attempted man-marking system which was the wrong strategy for dealing with them. Southampton clearly put a lot of thought in to stop Ibrahimovic, which was done as well as they could, I like Medel at centre back. However, Farfan and Coleman got a lot of joy down the right wing, and Cabaye and Carrick were able to make things happen as they were allowed time on the ball.
Kolo had an abysmal game for zwag which cost them anything from the game today, he let auby run past him for the first and falled to spot the danger when tello drifted about from the 2nd, they did however have joy in other parts of the pitch, carrck and cabaye won the midfield battle today, but the supply to the forwards was a little ineffective, a moment of magic from zlatan got them back into the game, but soton shored up their defence to hold on to all 3 points
I can see goals in both teams for sure. I have put a 2-2 scoreline because both teams have strikers who are able to score a lot of goals and the tactics given to them play to their strengths and this will help them to score these goals. Even though both teams have very good defenders, like i said earlier i can see goals in this game
4-2-2-2 is the key today. The pace of the attacking two causes zwag big problems and this brings a solitary chance which lukaku buries
Both teams had periods of control and chances, Saints look solid in midfield with two players sitting which made it difficult for Zwag to open them. Saints got most of there joy from wide positions having the better of fullbacks. Zwag struggled to get Ibrahimovic in the game with the wingers not on his level.
