I'm not denying it was reckless but those kind of clear outs happen every game - bakkies botha has made a career out of it!
And to call it a head butt really is a gross over reaction

Its not a headbutt. It is reckless according to the ref. Harsh decision maybe. Headbutt would have been red. If it had been deliberate it would have been a headbutt and a red.

Crowd decision from Barnes there, just normal rucking for me. Also didn't think the play acting from POC was worthy of him.

I didn't call it a head butt? I know those incidents happen several times a game but when its gone to the TMO for slow motion replay, Barnes was left with no other option.
I don't agree with the law because I like aggressive rucking and clearing out but the rule is there and if caught, yellow card.

Re: HC, Pool 6, Round 6: Munster Rugby v Edinburgh
Barnes is a fairly awful referee, he has no control at all. Archer is going to get injured really badly in a scrum some day, being at 45degrees is not healthy.
Feel really sorry for Earls, the guy has zero luck with injuries, he really struggles to string a few games together, Varley will need to do some serious apologising.

Heavy tackle after Varley threw the ball to no-one. He was helped off the field and he hobbled off, looks like a leg injury, knee or ankle.

I feel sorry for him - seems to have being playing really well recently and Ireland are going in the right direction for the 6N. Hopefully it's not too serious and he gets some game time in the 6N.

Well that's try 3. The game's gone now I think.
I'm gonna head out now - not much to see now.

Denton has to be the most overrated player in Scottish rugby. He makes so many errors in attack and defence.
Re: HC, Pool 6, Round 6: Munster Rugby v Edinburgh
Also, it is disgraceful that Frankie is still employed by Sky. I'm not sure of anyone who enjoys listening to him, and he adds nothing of interest as he cannot even get simple things correct.

Will be a super human effort to deny Munster the 4th try from here - Munster have been very powerful

Our lineout on half way, Ford baws up the throw, try Munster 2 mins later.
Again poor defense from Edinburgh - frustrating after last week that all 4 tries today we're vert softly conceded

If Clermont win, have Munster drawn Leinster?

This. Would someone be so kind as to put up a thread later which lists all of the Heino and Amlin KO matches?

By my calculations if Clermont wins its Leinster away to Clermont and Munster home to Tolouse. Could be wrong though.

I wouldn't be worried about that if I was a Leinster fan. They're in such good form (a lot like two of their three rival provinces) and Clermont are still likely to bottle it.

Blauw, Lutui, Nel, VDV, Cox, Basilia, Leonardi, Du Preez, Hart, Bezuindehot, Beard, Strauss, Atiga, Cuthbert, Tonks - This just shows the level of foreign intervention in Edinburgh & Scottish Rugby
(Trying to take your mind of the result so you can rage at something else)

Re: HC, Pool 6, Round 6: Munster Rugby v Edinburgh
Well, to be fair we were beaten by a better team that is country miles further ahead than we are. We need to aspire to be like them, with their sizeable support and ability to turn up when big games come.
Solomons has been working Edinburgh hard and this was probably one stage too far at this moment of time. Hopefully we can look back at the wins that we have had and take the confidence through to our remaining Rabo matches and hope for a top 6 finish.
Good luck to Munster and the remaining Irish teams, hopefully they can show the French money doesn't buy you trophies.

Can I selfishly promote my new thread on the intl page?
It has a poll for a Scotland XV vs Ireland where you can select your ENTIRE team to play Ireland. The idea is a poll along with a written team will make it easier to identify the trends in fan selection.
Cheers

He's been injured...I'm sure that has something to do with it? I've no doubt Schmidt will add him now.
Earls is good at this level but can't make the step up I'm afraid. The kind of space he finds himself in with Munster won't be there at international level. Zebo was everwhere today and took the ball to the line really well.

Well i guess Mcfadden only injured his hand so should be fit just lacking game time. But still dont quite get it. Doesnt really matter though Zebo will be called up and likely be starting.
I think Copeland got Coughlans place. Hes had a better season so far

I thought TOD had a great game today. My MOTM.
Good win overall. Only downside were the scrums that were a bit too messy and Earls getting injured.
