Cook - 5 (tour to forget for the england captain)
Bell - 8
Root - 4 (looks tired, needs a rest)
Ballance - 6 (started well and then faded away)
Morgan - 10 - 282 runs at 56 England's man of the series
Bopara - 5 (failed again with the bat, and only the 3 wickets)
Stokes - 7
Buttler - 8
Bresnan - 4 (looks out of form and well off the pace of international cricket, with both bat and ball)
Rankin - 1
Jordan - 6 (figures don't flatter him, but bowled really well and should have had a lot more wickets, if chances were held)
Broad - 5
Tredwell - 2 innings, 2 runs, + no wickets from 3 games
AUS
Watson - 1 2 innings, no runs + 1 wicket from 2 games
Finch- 10 (258 runs at 51, including 2 centuries)
Clarke - 6
Bailey - 6
Warner - 7

Maxwell - 7
Haddin - 7
McKay - 5 (looked horribly out of form)
Coulter-Nile - 6 (promising cricketer)
Doherty - 2
Faulkner - 7

Re: aus vs eng odi ratings
I think those England scores are too generous in a 4-1 loss CF.
Here are mine;
Cook 3 - some brief rediscoveries of form getting him some starts, none of which capitalised on. Very poor wicket at a key point of Match 5. Bizarre "standing down" press conference just adding to the lack of coherent leadership all tour.
Bell 6 - understated, good scores that were denied any relevance by the team's overall mediocrity.
Stokes 4 - decent with ball and man of the match in the only Ray of light on the entire tour. Definitely has a bright future and will be a core component of the rebuild. One of very few fearless Englishmen.
Ballance 3 - extremely difficult environment to try and break into the team. Let down by those around him.
Morgan 7 - a captains performance in the absence of one from Cook. Led by example - no-one followed.
Buttler 6 - Some good middle order knocks that brought some hope. The team looked at one of their rarely comfortable states when Morgan and Buttler were in partnership.
Bopara 3 - Some decent efforts at suppressing Australian run rates. Didn't really come out hitting like he can at the crease, but it was often too late to make a difference anyway.
Broad 2 - needed more from Broad as the leader of the attack. Felt like the rookie Jordan took over this role. Shouldn't have been rested for the first ODI. Let the Aussies off from day 1 on top of the absence of Anderson. Not his fault I know.
Jordan 5 - impressive. Stepped up under the pressure of an abysmal tour and a relentless Aussie attack. Got some balls. Another key player in the rebuild of the England team.
Bresnan 3 - some good moments. Nothing more.
Rankin 1 - abysmal tour.
Tredwell 1 - offered nothing more than Root could have.
Root 2 - needs a rest and then to go play some county cricket to get in amongst the runs again. Showed slight glimpses of brilliance on the 5th ODI. Like so many others - couldn't convert into a score. Vital for the future.
