I love it, really really adds a different dimension to his character.

However I can't help feeling that some of the time he just seems high!

Some of the time?

It's pretty creepy and I'm glad he is going to try something different as he has gotten very stale. However, I don't have much faith in him putting the effort in to make the character consistent and believable enough to get over in a big way.

The problem i have with this is the similar issue that happened to Bray Wyatt. All the smarks in the crowd know it's Jeff Hardy. Their just going to chant for him essentially like the "Husky Harris" Chants at the start of Wyatt's return to TV.

It's different for sure but i don't think a mask is going to change much on him considering he painted his face anyway.

If he`s returning as willow and is going to use a gimmick, then I want him to keep it, not just abandon it in a few months and just go back to being Jeff Hardy, because everyone knows it`s really him.

1. It's not raining, put the umbrella down.
2. Wash your hands you dirty boy.

I quite enjoyed the promo, though I was a little caught off guard at first. When I realised it was Jeff Hardy, I just thought to myself, "Okay - expect weirdness".

Its not a new gimmick, as he's used the Willow character before (something I've read - not seen). Will be interested to see how it differs from his usual persona.

Agree it will be very funny if the crowd just keeps chanting "Hardy, Hardy", though I wouldn't blame them, as "Willow, Willow", sounds a bit lame...plus I'd keep on expecting to see Alyson Hannigan's character from Buffy the Vampire Slayer! Laugh

Given his history of substance abuse, that is entirely possible... Wink

Actually, that promo reminded me of some of Ultimate Warrior's, when he just rattled off a load of mystic-sounding nonsense.

Given the choice of Jeff Hardy dressed as a harlequin or a ginger lesbian, tough call.
