Cardiff v Leinster
First topic message reminder :
Thursday night. 8pm. Day before Wales v France.
What a pathetic League. I wonder what the attendance will be? Maybe it will give us a clue about how many Welsh people want to be in this sad excuse for a rugby competition.

Scrum looks way better for the Blues with Tom Davies instead of Sam Hobbs.

Referee should get a good slap for missing that block.

What the hell was Tom Williams doing!
Pathetic.
Some good tries and effort, but another home game and 0 points. 1 win in 8. Phil Davies must go (I and hear he is...)

Looks to me that Ireland all of a sudden are going to have a lot of options at Prop - I thought Furlong and Jack O'Connel had good games- this was the 3rd string Leinster front row and still giving the Blues the heave. Two good loose heads at Munster as well - the futures looking quite bright up front now if they could just unearth another O'Connel and O'Driscoll that would be the next decade taken care of in green

Re: Cardiff v Leinster
Blues did the best they could, we looked dangerous when the game had broken up and we attacked.
It was nice to see a fullback looking to run with the ball and take on defence's, that was probably Fish's best game since emerging for the Blues. What we'll miss with Halfpenny is the kicks at goal, in terms of attack i believe Fish will offer more as he gets more games.
Fair play to Leinster, the way they played probably forced the blues to just go for it and it made for an entertaining watch. But the fact remains, Phil Davies has to go.
Nice to see Tuifua having an impact as well. Once our backline get used to him i think the support lines off him will be crucial and bring us more tries.

The league is OK and its the only one we have. Some of our regions are the problem

Our attack has looked better recently, I think if Patchell is on the field we'll have a solid place kicker. Agree that Phil Davies has to go, we need a coach who can bring out the best in a group of talented young players.

No it's not. Its pathetic. It's so pathetic that nobody wants to go and watch it.
Some of our regions are the problem
Why's that?

I'll start with lack of success in the League and add the HC

And we'll just go round in circles trying to identify why that lack of success has come about.
Although some will point to the fact that Welsh teams have won 5 of the last 10 Celtic League titles.

Missed the game, just saw a picture of Fannings ear. Anyone able to shed some light on what happened?

Re: Cardiff v Leinster
On a side note, Gareth Davies has been playing quite well for the Blues, hes probably a better attacking 10 than Priestland and Biggar at the moment.

Charged down twice in a row against Glasgow and his kicking was pretty poor last week (off the bench for Humberstone who I thought was far better)
He can make some nice runs, but he is not a regional 10, let alone an international!!!
Can't wait for Patchell to be fit.
