More title changes in TNA at house shows (spoilers)
On Sunday in Japan during the huge Wrestle-1 event featuring the IMPACT WRESTLING superstars, new TNA champions were crowned as Seiya Sanada defeated Austin Aries to win the X Division Championship! The new champion Sanada will be competing at Lockdown in Miami, joining Great Muta and Tigre Uno to battle Bad Influence and Chris Sabin!
Also at the huge Wrestle-1 event, The BroMans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz) defeated The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) and the team of Kaz Hayashi and Shuji Kondo in a three-way match to regain the World Tag Team Championship! Don't forget to watch Thursday's IMPACT on SpikeTV for the fallout from the big Wrestle-1 event in Japan!

Yet blow something quite monumental as a first Wolves title win and run on a non-entity between two house shows.

While it is strange, no doubt, to say monumental is I think going too far. The wolves are a bonafide tag team for sure and yes they should be TNA tag champs, but the amount of times titles change hands in this era, winning and losing titles off of tv is not a massive deal imo. The wolves will win them back soon enough, probably after Lockdown where they can then begin defending them at PPV and TV tapings. On the whole the product has improved massively since Hogan`s departure and the work they`re doing in Japan to create a stronger fanbase over there (here) is really positive. TNA need to find ways of expanding nationally and globally as trying to beat WWE at their own game will only result in failure.

It could have been though which is the issue. It could have been built slowly, it could have taken months of rivalries and them never quite getting it, and then eventually a title win at a PPV, now though that first win will always be a house show that they lost a week later to a novelty act.

Have to agree.
Dunno if its the same with WWE, but belts (the heavyweight title being the exception) change hands so often that title matches don't seem that big a deal, most of the time.
I'd be surprised if their fans in Japan can't watch Impact on TV...if not, then maybe that should be one of the things on their "To Do" list?
