Froch vs Groves Arena Announced Tomorrow

Eddie Hearn is set to announce this tomorrow, Groves has said he won't go to Nottingham and Froch has said he'll fight him anywhere.

Would be funny if Eddie announces it's at the Copper Box

Rotherham's new ground is lovely. Is the obvious choice to my way of thinking.

Can't see Froch going to Emirates. Hostile atmosphere for him after all that has gone on. If he does fight there then he must be really confident of turning it around.

Yep the big one, Eddie must reckon he can get 90k to come watch.

I would imagine Wembley and Millennium Stadium have to be the favourites for this,

Both have part/fully retractable roofs, a necessity really and can house 70,000 plus.

Obviously Wembley would favour Groves more due to him being the 'home' favourite, however should it land there I think Hearn is going to have to go some on the undercard to make it worthwhile. London isn't a cheap place to eat, drink or sleep not to mention travel around so people travelling down will need the card to provide value for money.

Will be intriguing to see what the final decision is....put it this way I will happily take any pokes my way regards being in Hearns pockets if it means I get press tickets to this!!

Would suit me if it were at the Millennium Stadium. Even though its 2 English fighters you would probably get quite a few of us Welsh there just to hopefully see the slimester Froch finally get his comeuppance

Super Joe had 50,000

Benn/Eubank 2 had 42,000

Cooper/Ali 2 was 40,000

Cooper/Ali 1 had 35,000

But Len Harvey and Jock McAvoy's rematch had over 90,000 at the White City Stadium.

Just looked that up, don't know if Froch/Groves can do over 90,000 but surpassing HAtton's 55,000 is very impressive nevertheless, if it does that.

wembley doesnt have a roof

seems like its going to be london end, i'll probably not bother going. will cost a fair whack and viewing boxing in big football stadiums is pretty rubbish. i'll rather watch it on tv

i also cant imagine they will sell out the whole of wembley. they probably cut one end off. 90,000 seats plus the extra seating on the pitch/ring side is a fair amount to sell

Yeah think Hearns was saying top tiers would maybe be £20-£25, that would help sell it out.. Which is pretty cheap. Obviously I imagine prices get a lot steeper further down.

unfortunately me and my mates are unable to attend any major sporting event without it turning into a major p!ss up, the cost of the ticket is the least of my worries when compared to a sesh in london

The other week I spent £200 on a night out and paid a tenner to drink two shots of Sambuka out of my shoe for no reason, believe me I know.

Froch landed more than once in the first fight. Even if that all it takes, especially late, it's just brilliant that the fight will end in a more satisfying conclusion (hopefully).

Heavy hints from Eddie this morning that Wembley is/was a red herring.

He's taking photos on his way to the venue, starting first with a motorway sign saying 'North' one way and 'South' the other, and more recently with a sign saying just 'North'.

Was still 26 miles south of Luton when taken though, definitely south - hence the sun!

Groves will never sell in the States...........He hasn't the personality or Hatton's battering ram style.....

Khan never sold.......Lewis never sold...

His market is here and If he wins and I hope he does......He should enjoy being the top Boxer in this country both in ring prowess, likeability and marketability..
