Those that are on contracts, do you mind telling me how much you pay a month, what phone you got and how many minutes, text and data you get
Re: N.E.D. Social Area
I have an iPhone 5 and I pay like £51 a month I think for 2GB data usage and I'm pretty sure it's unlimited calls and texts. I think that £10 of that money is for insurance too.

How? Maggio is the only fast player in the team, and he's got nothing on El Shaarawy.

If we round up then we end up with 1:1 in most games, rounding down prevents so many draws
- Forcing to sell players? Are we really still going on about this?! Only you have a problem with it Fan, get over yourself

Also quite unlikely seeing as we'll only have a maximum of 6 voters. Worst would be .83

Re: N.E.D. Social Area
To be fair, it just means to get a goal you need to have at least 1.00, if 6 voters all give you a goal then you get a goal. 0-0 voters are just here to Frak Poopie up...

Re: N.E.D. Social Area
I think it's a decent results basis, if you can't average a goal, why should you get it.
And as Marky says you ain't ever going to get 0.99 unless you have 100 voters

To be fair it's the same as if the votes were 1.49 to 1.51, yes it should be a draw but there has to be a cut off line at some point.

.99 was an example but .8 getting rounded to 0 so someone can win is pointless, a draw is a draw. End of

Re: N.E.D. Social Area
But it's still the same as mine above, a 1.49 v 1.51 is for all purposes a draw but under the normal rules of 1.5 rounding up then it's a win to the 1.51 guy.
I do feel for you on it, we should have drawn being that we both got a single win and the rest drawn but unfortunately a line does have to be drawn at some point on what is a win.

Okay, then on the flip side, say your team has averaged more than a goal and get 1.49, where your opposition hasn't got close and average 0.5. On your basis thats a draw, where it clearly shouldn't be as one side is averaging nearly one goal more. If you average 0.8 goals across all votes, then it seems logically to me that you haven't won enough to get a goal.
No results calculation has ever been proved to be perfect, but this one is the best I have seen as it takes into account average goals and win votes

Re: N.E.D. Social Area
Ask Tranq as he already does injuries and lawyers for the Gregers League. Maybe he'll do tactics and results too.
No disrespect intended Gregers, but even if you do get more help, you're still meant to do injuries and lawyers for the Zebs League, and that's not been done yet. I would gladly help you but I simply don't have the time to do it.

Re: N.E.D. Social Area
I've just done lawyers for the Z league except my team.
One thing I've noticed that would certainly help in lawyers is that if team sheets could keep an upto date value of the players, Tranqs was far easier to do as I wasn't having to be searching TM for the players as his values were there to use.

Re: N.E.D. Social Area
votes
Zwag v Lyon
I'd like to see the two wide men to support the main striker more as I feel he lacks it and the FB to play attacking, more steel needed in midfield to allow Lallana play his game. Two powerful CB but I would like to bring in a ball playing defender who is positional better.
Lyon feedback: Nice attacking approach, would suggest Lacazette playing wide right doesn't suit him and a natural right winger/right forward would be better, other than that liked the setup this week.
Client Eastwoods Last Decent Film Role v Quite Poor Results
Injuries seem like the defining factor in this contest. Not convinved with Assou-Ekotoo playing on the right-side, with Hudges providing inacquate cover. Like the QPR central midfield pairing to cause problems through the middle but Clint Eastwood's seem far stronger, with better FB's and Sturrdie causing lots of problems.
Clinical professional performance by Clint here today, QPR played a lot of balls which Barzagli easily dealt with and neutralizing Austin. Pirlo better in deeper role did get the ball ticking but the attacking players struggled to get ball behind Clint. Sturrige caused many problems with his movement and pace which CB couldn't cope with.
Clint GP: Excellent tactics from them but would like to see some homework on opposition
Clint BP: De Jong is not a regista bring in a proper deep playmaker
QPR GP: Some decent players in the side that can help QPR get results
QPR BP: Ageing midfield that struggles full 90 mins
Torino feedback: Strong again, I think the fullbacks need improving on but you've got two decent CB's and a very solid CM pairing, plus more going forward out wide than QPR had which earned you the win this week. Well played.
QPR feedback: Replace SWP, he's just not good enough. You also need to get into the TP market and sign a couple of defenders, you need to have appropriate defensive cover, frankly I don't rate Assou-Ekotto at LB or RB, or Hughes at CB. Ronaldinho is a nice addition to the side ahead of Pirlo and Cambiasso, who are your best CM pairing IMO
Ajax Trees Down v Parma
Strong tactics from both managers with the makings of a cracking game! Even with Parma's defensive Injury worries, I really rate the Carvalho/Toulalan partnership to help plug the gaps, with two decent wingers they will provide a threat to any defence in this league. Ajax's forwards look very lively with movement through-out causing problems. Parma have slighly more about them to shade this contest.
The game that everyone wanted to see but bogged down in midfield limiting attacking opportunities, Ajax doing well to target the CB pairing and it paid off with Piazon using space created to score. Parma got back into game with Allan struggling when midfield of Parma pushed forward. A fair draw for both sides.
Ajax GP: Ajax picking up on feedback off opposition which worked well for them resulting in a goal
Ajax BP: The narrow midfield made it scrappy but not enough against a midfield of Parma quality
Parma GP: Good solid side overall that has few weaknesses
Parma BP: The CB were exposed here and will be if teams pick up on it
Ajax feedback: Nice and bold system, if Parma played their usual 4-2-3-1 then it may have paid off, but with Parma playing three less attacking CM's it means the game fizzled out a little in midfield. I think it may have been better to repeat last week's 4-2-3-1 with the 4-4-2 diamond a Plan B rather than the Plan A.
Parma feedback: Mustafi isn't the best of cover but your midfield trio are enough to stop Ajax being their usual attacking self. Defour as the furthest forward CM means you're light in attack but hard to break down, can't see Parma scoring today but can't see them conceding either.

Re: N.E.D. Social Area
Sorry guys. Don't know what I've missed, if I've joined anything. Struggling for time now as I've got many assignments to carry out at work, I've got more, extended trips, got a fair load of people to come on during the days and now after work for 3 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday 6-7.30 and Saturday 10-12) I'm working voluntary to help improve/enhance/advertise the use of sports at a local Leisure Center/Playing Fields with a few of my friends. I've just started this course and I have also started a new medical course which is being funded by my company itself and it sees me travel abroad twice and across the UK once as well which lasts for a duration of 4 months (starting on the 1st Monday of April), on top of my current daily work. So basically, I know this information isn't required for you to know really but some of you don't always believe my reasons for inactivity. But basically, its pretty hectic for basically up until July at the very least. I'll have a little bit of extra time in August but I still wouldn't be sure if I would have the commitment to participate and I've started to lose interest in SG a little bit more. So sorry if I have wasted any time but I may participate in some sporadic comments on here and the forum but I will certainly not be able to commit to such heavy loads of work on here unfortunately. Sorry.
