Cheers mate I'll check him out.
Expected Henderson to get plenty of game time in the Rabo this year but the game last night was a big boast!

Re: Harlequins
Lobbe needs Denton/Hooper/Wood/Gibson
Rougerie needs Roberts
Smith is unlikely tbh but could try with Dickson
----
Loose structure ideas
Although do you fancy Afoa + Sinckler + Faainga 4 Murray + Rougerie as an enquiry. Would have to work out where it leaves my squad etc

It'd be really tough to do that. Smith is looking quality and young. Need Afoa, Denton or Roberts as a gain back really.
Hodgson, Haskell and Allen only EQ it would take something mental to get

Re: Harlequins
Not convinced i'd do it as it is, certainly not with something added. Huge gamble on my part - Cooper won't be able to play Super Rugby without having sorted his issues with the ARU. I'd think about it though, just unsure whether i'd take the gamble. Gaskell struggling for playing time too right now.

Not really looking to sell any of my back three at all, possibly consider Ashton for Wood?

Sorry, but I am going to have to take Mako back from loan mate, needing a good English prop on the bench - you can take Ryan Grant on loan if you wanted?

Re: Harlequins
Think that is my issue, can't find a lineout leader anywhere - ideally would like to play a backrow of Messam, Cane and Parisse, with Launchbury and Lawes in the second row. I really rate both second rows as lineout jumpers, but they aren't leaders and that def causes me issues. Would also like to get Calum Clarke on the bench, as he's another good lineout jumper, but not a leader.
Might have to try and get a deal with someone in this league!

Just need to see how other deals go mate. I'm reluctant because it leaves me unbalanced but could still be a goer, esp if I sign another winger.

Re: Harlequins
Going to leave it bud. Have gone for Michalak in foreigns, and not sold on Gaskell.
On a seperate note - looks like Cooper to stay in Union for the time being from what I read today.

I'd definitely do it if we could include Hawkins for Matt Smith in the deal as well mate. How does that grab you?

Re: Harlequins
Didnt think he would be! Worth a try though, one of my favourite players.
Did you see him play 12 at the weekend? Looked very, very good there - think he got 22 points too! Could well be the guy for England there if Gloucester play him more there.

Scoring system nuts in some ways you were never 9 points worse than Toulon. They are proper side though

Re: Harlequins
Nobody overrated at Toulon they are top.
My point was you can lose closely by everyone and then looks like hammering.
I like new scoring system also. Toulon a serious outfit. Maybe out wide not best but habana will solve that!

Re: Harlequins
When your ready mate, interested in Pienaar and Garvey if you can see anything
==
Hi mate. Can't really see a deal for Pienaar - really think his game management along with Evans is key to Irish. But Garvey can go in the right deal. Has a bright future so will need an incentive. Bakkies?
I'm also interested in Afoa, Wood, Roberts, JJ.

Re: Harlequins
Tameifuna can go, but going to keep Thompstone as he fits the way I want to play quite well. Not really keen on Gaskell, good player, but a bit lightwieght for the way I want to play.
Tameifuna for Faingaa could be the start of a deal though.

Cheers for the advice mate. Probably a sound idea to mull things over a bit on the offers. Will be back on for a couple of hours tomorrow evening before heading out so can finalise any deals then.

Thanks for the loan of Ross Chisholm Steve, but am sending him back to you now as I don't think I've played him at all. was a shame he got injured earlier this season as he's a good player.

I'm sensing getting decent English players is going to be a tough one for me!!! Need a lineout man to play alongside FVDM in the engine room. Any deal you can see for either of the Dicksons?

Re: Harlequins
I like Gaskell as a player, but he just needs to bulk up a bit at the moment. If he did that he has loads of potential and is still young enough to realise it. Williams is who I will be playing at 5 if I can't sign anyone else as he's a top player really, just been a bit in and out at times recently.
