flippin hell rolland do your job then you wont see the scrum half losing it,
every frigging ruck some one lying all over the ball FFS.
Scarlets getting shafted by rolland here penalties in attack and defence what they supposed to do?

One eyed ref there were clear penalties playing the ball on the ground but ref ignores then when he finally cound not ignore he reverses it due to frustration, when is he retiring. Scarlets are poor in this game.

Ref gave the penalty to Scarlets then reversed it for the stamp after the whistle from the 9 - who is lucky to stay on the pitch for that. Fortunately for Scarlets Rolland is not card happy.

He reluctantly give the penalty, then Davies lost it because Rolland just stood there not even instructing the player to move like every previous ruck.

Glasgow need to pick up their game. Scarlets have been poor in the first half. I expect an improvement from them in the second

English I take it? The lead commentator sounds like Gareth Charles (the usual scrum v commentator). The other one is Dragons forwards' coach Kingsley Jones.

Have sympathies with the Scarlets for some of these penalties. We popped up first there.

I also didn't get the knock on in the first half when the ball came off Murchie rather than (I think it was) Williams.

It's Ed Kalman, Glasgow's prop. He's from Plymouth, which is close enough to Wales for him to know better.

Will take that win in the appalling weather. We didn't really deserve to deny them the LBP, but I'm obviously glad that we did.

Our defence and aggression at the breakdown was very good and we didn't let their excellent backs in once.

Standout performances from a Glasgow perspective from Cusiter (good service, couple of great breaks), Murchie (looked excellent and sharp, excellent he's back), Dunbar (always made yards, kept JD2 well in hand) and J. Gray (who got everywhere and made a pain in the hole of himself).

Weir did not look good at all tonight, Jackson looked much better.

Did the Dragons a favour as well. Any win v Connacht tomorrow and it's a good battle for 6th. Though we will inevitably lose at PYS when it comes down to it regardless of how close we are.

You wouldn't have think that Murchie was playing his 1st game for a long time, excellent performance from him. Big shifts from Gray jnr and Strauss, good to see Harley carrying the ball.
Scrum deteriorated when Low came on but not a surprise for me.

Overall a well deserved win and it would have flattered the Scarlets had they taken a bonus point.

Scotsman reporting that Weir played for about an hour, the last half of which he was carrying a broken nose. So I guess we should give him a, er, break.

In all fairness to Glasgow 13 of the starting 15 were Scottish. Strauss is on his way to being Scottish Qualified and Niko was only starting because we have so many backs out.

Niko got man of the match at the game, thought he played well enough, but thought MOM should have gone to Strauss. Really great to have Murchie back, such a solid performer and Vernon continues to improve.

Although we never looked like running away with it, I thought it was our most convincing performance for a while as we were in control for most of the game.

John Barclay didn't have much affect on the game which was good.

As you say, a good performance from all concerned but wasn't JD2 in direct opposition to Vernon rather than Dunbar last night? I think the conversion of Vernon to centre is looking quite successful so far, if anything he needs to back himself more. I thought Gray was fantastic, his intensity for the whole match is incredible.

Yes, he was but whenever I saw JD knocked on his backside it was either Dunbar or later in the game, the Messiah, who was responsible.

Toonie interview this morning mentioned that the intensity was good but lack of match sharpness after everyone not having played for nearly 4 weeks showed.

Very interested that there's been no announcement about the Rhubarb yet. Is he going or staying?

I think would have kept Rhubarb instead of Weir. Weir's strenght was his kicking game and he doesn't have it anymore.

Jackson is a great ball playing 10...

Jackson is not being offered a new contract.

Mixed feelings about Jackson. Hope he gets a club which will push him that little bit more, he could still be a very valuable asset to Scotland.
Saturday's game;
POSITIVES; handling, off-loading, team looked sharp and confident, Cusiter excellent, Niko just Niko, Richie V is looking good in the centres, Murchie was good too.
NEGATIVES; not enough tries.

Still when you consider; Cusack, Kalman, MacArthur, Ryder, Holmes, Jedi, Wilson, Pyrgos, Maitland, DTH, Hogg and Hornee were all missing it doesn't look too bad.Yes I know I haven't included our recent signings

The four teams above us all play each other before the end of the season and we have three games against Italian opposition. Oh and the MFL! But the matches against Hairspays, Ulster and Munster will be massive. We have a perfect chance to go on a winning run and build up some real momentum going into the playoffs.

Jackson has gone as far as he can with Glasgow and Scotland. France?
