Is it not even on BBC Alba?
Onto the Rennie point, I can't think why a coach of Solomon's credentials wouldn't rate him. That sounds a bit daft.

No the Glasgow game is on Alba instead (for a change...)
Agreed on Rennie - if you have a pack of behemoths you can accommodate a smaller more skillful 7 perfectly well.

The Rennie situation is kind of weird, maybe it's just that Rennie needed a new start?
Grant and Rennie aren't the biggest players but i think Grant is more abrasive which could be why Solomons prefer him over Rennie.
I remember the same fixture last year wasn't supposed to be on tv, yet BBC NI ended up showing it, maybe more of the same please.

If anyone is looking for free tickets Ghillie Dhu are running a competition on Facebook - I seem to be the only one that has entered so far and there are 2 pairs of tickets up for grabs!
They are asking how many pipes they have in their organ in the auditorium and, having looked on their website, I reckon it is 30.

Is there some App on your phone RDW that automatically informs you of all ticket competitions!!?
Hopefully the weather will improve before tomorrow. Not sure the kickers will much fancy trying to play with this wind, and it won't make for a great game.

Nah, I wasn't going to go but thought I would check around for competitions, Ghillie Dhu regularly has one and hardly anyone enters it - I think this is my 4th pair of tickets from them now!
The weather is minging just now but is meant to die down by this afternoon (I hope so for rugby training tonight!)
Forecast for tomorrow is overcast and a moderately high wind.

Well Bezzy is a pretty competent kicker, whereas Paddy Jackson never seems to handle Murrayfield particularly well (and I'm told Pienaar won't be playing), so hopefully we'll do well out of that exchange.

7) Sean Doyle
8) Roger Wilson

With Best, Henry, Trimble and Pienaar all looking to come back next week we are in a strong place! Very happy with that team, only concerns are the lack of cover at tight head and out half.

Sorry! I made a mistake when I was quickly transcribing the team. Callum Black is injured and Andrew Warwick replaces him. Thats what happens when you don't proofread

Re: Edinburgh v Ulster, 21 March
Our pack will hopefully hold our own, with several big units in there, but it is very much advantage Ulster in the backs.
5 of that starting backline are new signings this year, and a lot of them only have a handful of games. They are decent players by the look of things, but have no where near the same experience as that Ulster team.
Good thing the Murrayfield pitch is a bit of a leveller then!

That's a mighty Ulster lineup and a big woooohhoooooooo for 1F's first start in toooooo long.
On that issue, a question for Edinburgh folks, does Grayson Hart have some immodium handy because Stevie Ferris likes picking on scrum halfs
I say picking......I mean picking up and running with them

Woah - the Mad Dog from Maghaberry is back with a first team start. Hope he doesn't get injured again - 15 months was a long, long time to be out. Agreed that if he and Du Preez collide, I'll hear the smash from here.
Edinburgh need to replicate what they did against the Ospreys - they were worthy winners. Coman People and Bezzy looked like quality products. Strauss and Beard also looked very good but they're going to get a serious test this time out.

Great to hear you're coming along, and prepare yourself for people making jokes about you getting your dates wrong if you wear your Dragons top!
Definitely recommend the pitch side standing, unless sitting in a sparse, empty stadium is your kind of thing...

Never forget the HC group match when the Edinburgh fans complained about us being too loud
Also the Ulster players have said that when we played Edinburgh in the Celtic Cup Final at Murrayfield the match was won before kick off.
All the teams could hear was the Ulster fans and they reckoned it made them a foot taller and the Edinburgh players a foot shorter

Edinburgh players have got used to hostile opposition fans being noiser - and that's just the home games!
You sure the Edinburgh fans weren't just getting annoyed with the SUFTUM chants over and over again??

Personally not sure if I would go see Edinburgh even for free, but then again I did pay to go see the Blues when they played at the Cardiff City Stadium.
