Unemployed and cheap?

Better than Garth Crooks?

Needed someone Russell Brand hadn't taken to bed?

Laugh

It just struck me as a starnge line up, I don't follow football often but seeing all the goals that were scored I thought I'd watch it, wasn't expecting those guys.

I absolutely detest Russel Brand.

A) He looks like a d1ck.
B) He isn't remotely funny.
C) He has stupid opinions on drugs use and laws.
D) His voice is incredibly irritating.

Can't sing, can't act, can't dance.

He'll go a long way.

The pundits laughing at Leonardo's elbow in the 1994 world cup was effing disgraceful.

Apart from that, Brand was ok.

Like others here, I can't stand Brand. That said, he wasn't as bad as I thought he would be. I still though didn't see a proper purpose in him appearing. By all means give Sport Relief a plug on MOTD but there was no need to go further than that. Brand's appearance struck me as being more about Lineker's attempts at presenter stardom through association than anything else.

Sports Relief and Children IN Need etc are shiversomely embarassing spectacles. I can't bear to watch. Presenters contriving to be "zany" because it's "charity". Ghastly stuff.

Obviously its a good cause, but as you say, some of the 'celebs' are just embarrassing to watch.

I'd love to know how much the likes of Lineker, Corden, etc donate.

They are good for telling us to donate.

Corden is in the same bracket of c**tishness as Brand.

Corden's ok. He comes across as a cocky git, more than likely because of his Smithy character, but to me he doesn't look as confident as he tries to convey.
