Would need a replacement prop to lose Mercey mate, and from you would only be interested in Coonie or Mas, neither of whom I think you are likely to want to sell.

Re: Gloucester
I could loan you James Johnstone for the World cup if you wanted. I don't think he is going but might be worth checking.
Could I loan Sam Tuitupou for the WC in return?

Re: Gloucester
I'd probably need Wood for Wilson - what wings have you got available as if I lose Savea then I have got no wingers!
Savea is an interesting player, he has the potential to be the next Lomu, very similar styles - perhaps a bit smaller, but is faster. But he hasnt really pushed on enough this season. Thinking the ITM Cup could be the making of him though, watched him yesterday and he did one run where he smashed five defenders out of the way, so powerful and sucks in defenders all the time.

Re: Gloucester
Matt,
Who is 13. Grey in your starting lineup this week?
You have no one who can play centre by that name in your squad (unless this is a massive experiment and Richie is moving to the backs!)

Re: Gloucester
I'd normally say Vermeulen would be fair with Roussow getting on and V up and coming...but with him leaving the scene don't think I could do that.
Could maybe do Pape if something came back my
way in terms of gain?!?!
J Gray, Strauss, Oost, Alberts, Saull, Kahui, Gear, Guildford etc

Pape + Woods/Duffy
Roussow + Saull/Gray
Would be pretty fair I think, if not no issues. As you said hard to rate Rous as if he goes he's plummet and if he stays he won't.

Re: Gloucester
Fair enough mate, see Pape/Roussow pretty close myself, both good 4's.
Don't see much between Woods/Saull either (both second choice 7 for top clubs) but think Saull has potential to improve.

Re: Gloucester
My thinking is Guildford is way down the list if you've got a fully fit squad, and especially with the likelihood of Sharples/JSP playing more often than not with the EQ rule.
Would you need a winger in return for Guildford? Maybe a lock as you're not overly flush there? Thorn? Leaves you with arguably the best two 4's in rugby.

Re: Gloucester
You do rate him quite highly! I prob wouldn't swap for McCaw if I'm honest lol.
He had a great battle with Brok Harris at the weekend, Harris gave him some scrummaging lessons (technique wise) but he's so strong he walked Harris back at one point. Could be top draw in a few years.

Would need a backrow replacement to let Palu go mate. Who you looking to let go?
Barkley is a handy option for the EQ but need back rowers for the world cup! Would do him in a straight swap for Fa'asavalu if hes not going the world cup. David would need a centre back to keep my depth up

Re: Gloucester
If i was to get rid of Watson I'd look to do it on a permanent basis as if I do a loan deal I would need to releases another player becuase of my squad size.
Hopefully Cips wont be picked on too badly as weather is perfect for running rugby!
