No deal mate, Van Der Linde isn't going anywhere. Anything for the others I listed?

hi Mat, sorry but no interest in selling Thomas at all. He's a young England prospect who will come on very quickly now that he's starting for Sale most games.

Re: Gloucester
Good deal you'v done with Arry , Think Roberts has lost it over the last 2 years and BOD made him look twice the player he is with the Lions.
Who do you think will be your 15 post RWC with Mils off to Japan? Dagg linking up with Guildford would be pretty tasty and Sharples is the form winger in England.

having stringer, boss and Reddan ahead of him will not be the case for much longer i assume
would not go massive but could do something
Wouldn't say he is 3rd choice Matt , Munster seem to keep there main men for the big games. I don't see Lewis as a decent replacement the same goes for Rory Lawson and i doub't you'll sell me Genia.
I can't really see a deal which strikes out at me. Hit me with an offer and i'll let you know

Re: Gloucester
Sorry Matt but i don't see how TOL can be seen as 3rd choice when he is a lot better than both Murrey and Stringer. TOL has been hit and miss with injuries so hasn't played much this year.
Lawson shouldn't start for Scotland , I'm in camp Cuisiter think he's a quality rugby player and the best the jocks can offer at 9. Lawson is a sharp scrum half but Cusititers service blows him out the window.

Re: Gloucester
Injuries are an absolute pain in the ars , It's why i sold Brussow last season he's far too injury prone.
I don't think Parling will come back if i'm honest i'v heard from Micky Young that he's really struggling to get back. Cockers seems to rate him above Skivs as well which i found surprising as Skivington has been one of the tigers better players since moving there.
It's more of a pain when a quality player is off form - John Smit and Lee Byrne

Re: Gloucester
Think Byrnes best years wear 2007 - 2009 was superb for the Lions in SA.
Think Mils , FDP and Brad Thorns ratings will drop after the RWC.
Agree that certain players rise to the occasion , i do it myself when playing 1st team or county rugby. Self motivation and confidence is a big thing at all levels of Rugby , Mauritz Botha is the best example of this poor carrier but full of confidence so keeps going

Re: Gloucester
I think it's why they need AAC in there midfield to have a bit of beef. Wouldn't be surprised to see Mortlock in the training squad to see what he'd bring despite his size he's still quite creative think him and AAC would work.
Will end up Giteau and AAC is Barnes doesn't make it back , Tom Carter for the Tahs has looked great the last few games. Have to say i'm looking forward to Tahs vs Brumbies tomorrow.
I think in muddy conditions as long as you have banker ball at the lineout you can play two heavyweights in the engine room. I like Russouw as a lock personally gets round the pitch really well and makes up for spies poor carrying game when the weathers rudey poo. Think it was the Boks vs France game before when he possibly played the game of his life!

Mitchell has around the same amount of caps as Kahui...quality scrummager and high work rate. If Kahui is world class, Mitchell must be bordering too

Lol....sorry you lost me at the Payne better than Mitchell comment. Mitchell is only behind a fully fit Jones as seen in the 6N where he started I think every game?!?!?

Re: Gloucester
Payne 31yo - 20 caps
Mitchell 25yo - 8 caps
Not sure what that proves. Mitchell has 6 years to get 12 caps......as second choice TH and with Jones 31yo hardly an issue.
I doubt Payne will add to his 20, if he does there's something seriously wrong with English rugby as he's awful.

How did we get into another Payne debate!!!
We seem to winding each other up a bit lately, it can be canny funny but this going on ages!
Huge fan of some of your front 5 players....bakkies, gray, Palmer, Strauss etc. Just can't tolerate Payne mate.

Right now for the world cup an enforcer or more mobile lock and a creative centre are my main concerns so would be looking for something there.
Post world cup happy to look at who ever you have available. Who you looking to loan out?
