PDJ is England Int mate, can't see any value in that for me unless you included something else.

That's not a deal I can do right at the moment but possibly re visit it in the summer when I'm re structuring my squad.

Fair offer I'll have a think. Nothing in George for Waller?

Re: Gloucester
I don't see it as unrealistic, definitely less than PDJ for George anyway
Personally think Waller & George will get full England honours despite limited game time. Waller reminds me of a young Sheridan.
I'll leave Diawiduik

Horne won't start ahead of AAC and even though I like JDJ I don't see him ahead of steyn/fourie.

Re: Gloucester
Think Aus have too many backs to fit in.
Mitchell/Ioane would be my wingers with Beale at FB. Don't think AAC can displace any of them. Then you have to fit JOC, Barnes and Cooper in.
Rougerie could potentially leave prefer him to Horne and JDJ though so need a gain back. Simmons I need a lock back as he is my backup

I will take him on loan mate.
Also wouldn't mind having him off you in the summer permantently if you could see a deal.

Re: Gloucester
Wood and kruis
for
Wallace and Skiv
was the deal I did with Pete. I am alright at openside so could afford to lose a very good prospect.
Marler still untouchable mate

Re: Gloucester
We are both lucky to have good academies which is going to help us now. Also we bought well before academies were seen as important.
I have Buchanan, Collier, Sinckler, Matthews, Merrick, Twomney and Marfo as junior internationals in the front 5 alone.

I'm screwed......
Bit of an issue I think if the game is to stay at 5 English, the poorer clubs are hindered because you're generally only as good as the English you can put out.

Re: Gloucester
I agree Pooly but I don't see how it could be controlled. Everyside has a decent academy its just a case of spotting them before selling them.
I'd have given Luke Wallace away before this season, and have now been able to involve him in a deal for one of englands elite flankers.

Re: Gloucester
I'm unsure how to solve it too. Look at Falcons for example, our English pool is dire. Welch is the pick of our U25 players and I could never start him on here. I have to sell top foreign to get English back.
Looking through Falcons, Exeter, Worcester & maybe Wasps(not as bad) have the worst English players coming through.
Unless academies are shared out (highly unlikely) they'll always be issues like this I guess.

Yea it's more of an issue for me tbh lol. Newcastle are just terrible at bringing players through.

Re: Gloucester
Too many average foreign players have stopped them coming through. Only really Welch & Shiells have got a chance. Like the look of Robson

Robson is U20 player has he even played in the prem?
I'd say your PDJ for Jamie George was slightly more laughable!!

Can't look to deal on potential though Matt.
"PDJ probably will not be involved with England again"
I doubt you actually believe that, I just think you're being grumpy lol.
I'll decline on Payne, although I'm a massive fan
