Re: Gloucester
I like PDJ and was a big fan. i just think Lancaster will not pick him due to lack of mobility around the park.
PDJ is like Julian White although slightly better around the park and slightly less in the scrum.
White has been a great scrummaging prop and PDJ gets better and better in scrum. although lack of game time may hinder him, thought he would displace Mujati but it just has not worked out for him.
He should have gone to sarries, irish or wasps where he could have really developed

Re: Gloucester
PDJ has prob 50/50 this season with Mujati...I think he's developed massivley.
His work around the park has been his main asset this season. Saints fans on main board think he initially struggled as Saints scrum squat and push through and his technique needed work. The few I've chatted with think Mujati/PDJ pretty level in scrum but PDJ adds more round park.
I'd have him only behind Cole at TH, Rowntree apparently massive fan and wants him in squad.

I am a fan. Around the park he is massively lacking, guy cant carry. He is known as the ruck inspector.
I would have him on the plane to south africa purely for scrummaging, I like me scrummaging props

Mujati is an athlete thats the difference. Mujati has some gas for a tight head and is pretty damn dynamic.
would have Mujati over JDP i reckon

I doon't think PDJ carries massivley well but work round park is very high, this is from Saints fans who see him every week. I thought ruck inspector was Ali Williams??? lol

Re: Gloucester
Ali Williams loves a bit of ruck inspecting thats for sure. Seemed to change for the world cup and was great.
Been dross for the blues this year. He is one of those players that when struggling for fitness should not be played as he is dreadful.
When fully fit and on form he is really good. infuriating

Cracking game mate, looked through predo's and thought I'd snuck it. That last one from Pete makes it a draw I think.

From last weeks match thread:
SirJohnnyEnglish wrote:Question for Matt.
What issues do you see with my lineout? Thomson is a good option been great again this season for Highlanders, POM is now one of the main jumpers at Munster and then Bekker is one of the best in the world. Pickles is used as a jumper for Toulouse and France as well and AWJ although not great can be used for the odd jump giving me 5 options??? Never seen you pick up on my lineout before

Re: Gloucester
JdJ looking good. Been pestering you for him for a while I seem to remember.
I agree with Pocock, but don't see it in predictions. For me he can win games with his turnovers, but dont think anyone has ever said Pocock is the difference in a prediction, when I think he could be when games are tight.

Re: Gloucester
Hello mate
Reference Mullan, I am reluctant to sell to be honest as I have got rid of Beast, so unless I got a loosehead replacement I would be a bit light in that position. Only losehead in your squad I would do him for is Coenie. The other alternative is an Englishman in a position where I am a bit light, so would do him for either Jonny May or Charlie Sharples.

Re: Gloucester
I wouldn't add to Vermeulen for Fourie. Vermeulen is in the mix (or was) for SA 8 jersey, Fourie is 2nd choice hook at Stormers. Thought it was pretty swayed to you anyway lol

Re: Gloucester
Ferris needs to do it against SA & NZ to be rated best. Kaino ahead for me until he does so.
Bonnaire not in same league, really don't see it with him. Good in lineout, average everywhere else.
