TNA Impact spoilers (10th April 2014)
Where a certain someone won the Number One Contender's Gauntlet match, had his title shot later that night and defeated Magnus to become the NEW World Heavyweight Champion.

That person is Eric Young.
What kind of joke wrestling company has some short beardy fellow as their World Champion anyway?

Brilliant stuff - truly amazing
THA is so much better than WWE - I'll get that in now before all of the TNA haters come out of the woodwork!

A small bearded fellow wrestles 2 matches in the same night. With an injured shoulder. And wins the World Title.
Its like they're not even trying anymore.

Next week they'll have TNA Hall of Fame inductee Kurt Angle die on his way home.
(apologies for the bad taste!)

Don't forget the streak - they must be about a million and 0 when it comes to bad booking decisions.

I watched the Eric Yoing promo a few weeks ago, I thought brilliant hea a guy to get behind in the BFG series, he either wins it or is beat in the final but has built himself up to be a legitimate thret to the title, then booooom they just throw the strap on him, was Magnus just a stop gap for the UK tour?

If Chris Sabins title reign was anything to go by Magnus'll be champ again by about half 7.

I have to say im delighted for EY considering the amount of crap gimmicks/storylines that TNA have lumbered him with over the last 10 years or so.
Wasn't impressed by Magnus reign always seemed to be 2nd choice Villain after Bobby Roode recently.

Re: TNA Impact spoilers (10th April 2014)
I love EY but even I thought it was a rubbish bit of booking. Right person, but the wrong time IMO.
If anyone can explain the thinking behind it, with any semblance of logic, I'll give them an e-cookie / cigar (depending on preference).
Surely the logical time & place for Magnus to give up the belt was at Sacrifice? Now when EY defends his title, the outcome isn't in any doubt whatsoever...unless the creative team suffers another collective brainfart....
In spite of that, at least it was a good title match and an entertaining gauntlet preceding it, though I've no idea why they had X Division champ Sanada in there, or EC3 & Willow as they're obviously out of the frame at this time and have their own ongoing story anyway.

They could have used the time between now sacrifice to build him up a bit. It all feels a bit rushed.
