This is possibly the most talked about and anticipated sporting event this weekend, with literally one journalist interested in writing anything about it. Zebre have astounded everyone this year by picking up 3 wins and, given that 2 of them were against the Blues ( ) and the Blues comprehensively outplayed us last week, this can only mean one thing - an embarrassing defeat for Edinburgh.
Selection wise, despite Solomons usually sticking to the same 15 players playing 80 minutes of each and every game, rumours are Edinburgh's signing of the decade Cornell Du Preez will be rested. This is definitely a good idea with Glasgow on the horizon. Personally I think Nel, Gilchrist, Denton and Cuthbert should also be rested, but can't see that happening.
I am literally wetting myself with excitement for this titanic clash of the titans.

Any idea which players? Edinburgh can't really give many, especially in the backs...

Re: Zebre V Edinburgh
What a dreadful result, and I understand that if we lose the last 3 games, as is likely, we will have lost the same number as Bradley last season. How depressing!

Nothing is confirmed yet but I heard Roddy grant and tom brown are wanting to play at the commonwealth games so they would have to play at scotstoun and the London 7sRDW_Scotland wrote:Any idea which players? Edinburgh can't really give many, especially in the backs...

Roddy grant was carried off, I would imagine that his season is now over

I was going to call Edinburgh Muppets - but Kermit at SH, Miss piggy at lock and Animal at flanker would be better

Next weeks game will be tough as the derby games usually are. Why again did Edimburgh boot out Geoff Cross?
Big season coming up for Edinburgh next season.

No, no. Du Preez is being Rested.
So he'll only play 76 minutes of the game.
