From the AP Facebook page...

Premiership Rugby
This Saturday all the matches in the final round of Aviva Premiership Rugby kick off at 3.15pm.
Two matches will be shown live on BT Sport - Harlequins Rugby Union v Bath Rugby and Official Northampton Saints v London wasps
I would prefer to see Saints on tv, but I am biased. But I am sure most people want to see the duel between Quins and Bath, and rightfully so.  Over here is the far western edge of English civilisation methinks we will get only one match.   I guess B91212 is in the same boat.  Just checked my tv listings and the teams are listed as 'to be announced'.

On Saturday, my 17 year old and his club team are playing in the New Jersey state championship finals.  And I am one of the coaches, whenever I am around.
But if Saints are being shown at the same time...........

Thanks mate. My son is always so calm about these things. I guess that makes one of us! Would be great to have double-dipper this weekend, Saints and Son. Will let you know............

Well judged DR, up here we are only getting the one game live which I'm assuming will be Quins vs Bath (listings still say teams to be announced). They are showing a second game which I assume will be either Saints vs Wasps or Saracens vs Tigers delayed but not until late Sunday night / early hours Monday by which time regardless of which match I will already know the result. Will still record it though, something to watch next week whilst using the treadmill if the weather is crappy (again) and I can't run outside.

Best of luck to doctor_grey junior in the NJ state championships finals.

Just tried and I can't get the match either. I see a message which clicks on for a split second saying I need to enable Java. Not sure how to do that. I can see the highlight videos on the Premiership TV website, however.

Hey B91212, on which network in Alberta do you watch the Rugby? Just my own curiosity. I see the Premiership on Fox Soccer Plus. The Super 15 is get on Direct TV's Rugby channel.

You could try googling "how to enable java".

http://java.com/en/download/help/enable_browser.xml

It might still be blocked though.

Not trying to view it on an iPad are you? They don't work on those. Although if it's regionally blocked for B91212 it'll probably be the same for you.

On one of my desktops.  Thanks for giving me something to try.
I just saw my tv listings were upgraded.  Quins-Bath is on live and Saints-Wasps on a delay broadcast a few hours later.  Just set the tv box to record both matches.

All rugby other than the World Cup is shown on a single channel, Rogers Sportsnet World. It's one of four Rogers Sports tv channels, the other 3 of which come as part of the wider cable package and concentrate on North American sports and motorsport/cycling. Individual cost for the Sportsnet World channel is $18 per month and carries the following Rugby-

AP (usually 2 live games and 1 full delayed match a week), European Cup (usually 3 live and 3 delayed at group stages with all games from knockout onward either live or delayed), Rabo (3 total, 1 or 2 live), T14 (usually 2 a week delayed), Super Rugby (3 live + 3 delayed), 6N (delayed), 4N, Summer Tours (live & delayed as long as top ten ranked teams), some Autumn internationals but not all, and the B&I Lions.

Also shows RL (Internationals, Super League, NRL) and a ridiculous amount of football (not that I watch it anymore). Don't think it's bad value for the money although football often gets priority when kick off times clash. Doesn't happen too much though as football is gaining popularity here and so is shown on all the other sports channels unlike rugby. Rugby World Cup, just like the football equivalent World & Euro Championships is shown live on the main CBC channels (by law I think). We also get another 3 or 4 sports channels nothing to do with Rogers but again they show mainly North American sports.

Think we would need to use VPN program to get around the region thing on the AP website. Would also allow you to watch iplayer etc and I think they cost about $6 a month, and although not officially illegal I understand it's a grey area. I've never bothered looking into it too closely as other than rugby I don't watch that much tv.

Jeez, I'm a yutz. I have a vpn back to the my medical practice back home. Just tried it and, as you said, works fine. I had used it for iPlayer in the past, but never connected the dots and thought to try the AP site. Thanks!
