Yuriokis Gamboa vs Terence Crawford
Terence Crawford will defend his recently acquired WBO lightweight title against Cuban stylist, and WBA 'interim' lightweight champion, Yuriokis Gamboa.
The fight is in Nebraska, Crawford's home town, on 28-06-2014.
Depending on how Gamboa's been training or whatever he's been doing, I make him the favourite.
Interestingly both fighters come to the ring 23-0 with 16 KOs.
Someone's 0 is gonna go!

Surprised I couldn't see another topic about this upcoming fight, just wondered how do see the the fight going between these 2 unbeaten lightweights with identical records. I can't wait for this one!

I like Crawford. He looked great against Burns.
Gamboa has lost a bit of stream for me.

Tough one to call, I get the feeling this is the kind of fight Gamboa will bring his best for and pick up the win, he'll need to be at his brilliant best.

What has Gamboa done with himself since beating De Leon? He was on a great run then and his career's gone to Poopie since then.
32 is pushing it for a smaller guy who relies on speed and reflexes, although he's hardly taken any punishment during this time.
Anyone know how he looked on his last outing? Last time I saw him was on the Pacquiao/Marquez undercard where he looked occasionally brilliant then went and got himself almost knocked out.

I rate Crawford highly - if they have decent testing I suspect he hangs a first loss on Gamboa.
