Sorry but Molly votes aren't in yet. Olly is the voter but he asked me to do this week as he's got exams, and I had a very busy day yesterday. Will do my best to get them in by this afternoon.

Feedback time

GOW brings us an interesting show with a clear Game Of Thrones influence, as someone who's never seen the show this will all be new to me but from that I've seen so far it's going to be entertaining. GOW had some unique ideas the 5 staged arena was a really cool touch and although the intro and other bits were a bit unrealistic I enjoyed the story elements. The show was a little long but this is something we're used to with Thunder. Certain things did make me feel slightly uncomfortable for lack of a better word (Lita getting wet and Vince perving on Steph) but given the theme I guess this works well with that. The matches were good and entertaining my only negative point about them was the fact that Reigns hit two spears but didn't get the win from them and it made the spear come across as slightly weak when really it should be seen as game over when Reigns hits it. Overall a good show with some interesting moments that sets up what GOW is about.

Reasons loved the whole family feuds style to the federation was something different that I enjoyed reading, Killing Shane off was a bit of a bold move though especially as an opening segment, but if your going for a GOT style show I guess we should expect people to die every week.

It's an extremely well written show and i enjoyed it alot and was intrigued by the start with the funeral i can't see him being dead though & finish of the show. My biggest complaint over the show is that everyone seems to representing some kind of house of etc other then that all good.

GOW Feedback
Admittedly I have never seen Game of Throwns so maybe some of the references have gone over my head here but is Vince the leader of the promotion? Moving onto the show now, the opening segment gave me chills, very well written and came across really well and I’d love to see Shane return in some capacity further down the line this season. The matches were fine for what they are but for an opening show, apart from the Triple H/Reigns match, nothing really stood out grab me in the mid-card.

GOW
I liked the show, but sadly I didn't understand the whole house thing, and why they have to bow to Vince. I'm sure it's to do with the Game of Thrones, but I have not seen it so the concept may be a little lost on me. However just because I didn't understand the concept the show was well written and there were some good match ups on offer.

GOW
Good first week of matches, im not sure how long the different houses will work though. And shane o mac is dead????? bit of an extreme way to start a new season, but guess we will see where it goes over the next few weeks

GOW - Interesting start to the show with Shane's funeral, and Vince being unconcerned! Enjoyable show, nice shock win for Roman Reigns and I like the different Houses format.

YCW this week gives a mixed bag of weird and wonderful, I love the idea of no titles and thought the idea of amusement style tokens was pretty funny! The image of Mark Henry wanting to save up for the car was amazing. I felt the show's formatting could be a little better but it wasn't too bad as it didn't distract too much, my biggest criticism is that YCW seemed to lack any real story lines apart from Fandango and Drew McIntyre arguing and Bischoff losing his job, I also felt the show was a bit on the long side but I'm looking forward to seeing what else YCW can provide us with. Overall a funny and enjoyable show that had some really funny ideas.

YCW – I was sceptical at first about the whole random thing, but I can see there were a few set ups for some rivalries and luckily Bishoff has been removed from power so, hopefully we won’t see any more of that. Over all a good show, I feel that with a Yorkshire man in charge, we might see the old yellow belly, having to fight for some fair treatment.

Impressive debut by Steel in the world of WWA. Everything flowed exceptionally well and was several top quality matches throughout the night. If were facing anyone else id have you down for a win.

YCW
Wasn't keen on the whole tickets for prizes concept, I get it's more of a comedy show that wrestling show, but having watched Big Daddy in my childhood, I am glad someone picked him up on a roster this season, and glad he got the win, I'm hoping the announcement next week is to scrap the prizes to be honest lol

YCW
Excellent first show from steel, im looking forward to seeing if any more yorkshire based wrestlers come in in the coming weeks. The segments were perhaps a bit long, but sure it is something that steel will work on in the coming weeks also.I like the idea of the wrestlers fighting it out for some prizes instead of championships

YCW - Unique concept, unique show and a nice all English main event. A little too Yorkshire for my liking mind... Great start.

XPW
A short show from XPW this week but one that did the job that was needed by teasing it's main feud in the form of Age Of The Fall and The Wyatt Family which if done well could be amazing. I enjoyed the show, the writing flowed and it was easy to follow but I felt at times that we were waiting for the storylines to happen and although I think the right people went through some of the matches made others look weak (especially Ricochet and Kyle O'Reilly). My only other issue is the fact that we only got 5 matches for the whole show and due to the first 4 being singles matches and the main event having 4 people doing double duty we didn't really get to see much variation or much use of the XPW roster, I felt as if a tag team match could have been put in to break up the 1 on 1's.

XPW – I really liked the whole idea, qualifiers for a five man cage match, a five man cage match and Rollins coming out on top. I didn’t think so, much of how many times the lights went out, but it did set up well for a rivalry between the two factions. The thing with Bryan was a nice swerve, lead me to believe that the Wyatts were interested in Bryan again and that would be the main storyline. Overall well written but not the best we’ve seen from Fernando, I have to wonder if he’s holding back as it’s the first week.

Thought both shows were very well written and the matches in both was great

XPW - Great show, basic format but very well executed, nice twist in the main event, looking forward to next week.

XPW
I think XPW was a good show this week, match ups were great well thought out line up. Didn't see Rollins winning the title so a nice shock factor, also I like Tensai I think he could be built up into a nice monster heel, the way the E were doing then buried him as always. Good show anyway, a bit of negative, i'd have liked to have seen a little more in the way of promo detail

I like the use of the whole show to hype the world title but I would have liked at least a hint at what else is on your roster. The writing for Carter was great however and I was expecting Tensai to win the title so Rollins getting it was a great twist.

Molly
what did I just read!? This was honestly like nothing before in WWA and I'm still unsure if I like it or love it, I know for a fact I didn't hate it though. The good points were that although it was silly as hell it stayed funny and managed to book wrestlers in to pretty believable scenarios using their personalities to make the jokes even funnier, I felt like it was well written and didn't drag but I felt that it should have at least had one match, the problem Molly has is that this is about booking wrestling and we saw none. The tease of the title match next week is promising and I feel that wrestling will sneak itself in somewhere I just hope it's sooner than later as this concept could fail against some of the better WWA's.

MOLLY – Umm, let me get this out the way right off the bat, this meant to be a wrestling show, not a darker Balamory. That being said, this intro episode is undeniably unique. As is expected from Marky, it is very well written and flows really well. While reading the episode of Balamory at night, I can see several storylines being set up ready for the future.

I will start by saying I really enjoyed reading the Molly the show was very innovative and creative and the characters really came to live, however it is hard to judge a wrestling show without any actual wrestling. but top marks for being different

MOLLY
Whilst entertaining, It's not wrestling and im not going to vote for you, you are a solid F+

MOLLY Feedback
What did I just read! After digesting this show now I am still unsure what to think because I think I’m going to really like this. Although this pretty much seemed like a debut show to an introduction to a wrestling related soap-opera, some of the inside jokes and roles that Molly have come up with are hilarious, especially John the Gasman, however because there was no matches what so ever, my vote simply has to go OPAL

I'm sorry this has to be my least favourite show of the opening week and I really wanted to like it, I've read it a few times hoping to find it better but I want to read a wrestling show, yes I expected the comedy from you guys but no wrestling? On a wrestling game? Some may like it, I just hope you have some matches next week and you may have a good show.

olly and marky's first show sets out there stall early and is going to be contriversial throuout the season it seems. It looks as though it is going to be an adult wwe slam city/ soap opera esque sort of show compared to a flat out wrestling show, would like to see some matches of some description. Im not completley sure about it yet, we will see if this grows on me

NGPW
NGPW stole the show last year when they teamed with XPW and this season looks no different with nXtreme invading this time around! The experienced team of Greggers and Enigma providing a strong opening show. The show had a great balance of matches and storylines and managed to set out a few strong storylines straight away. I loved the use of both nXtreme and NGPW's histories without relying on them too much, I also felt the matches really got the feel of who was wrestling and the winners weren't too predictable. My only criticism is that I felt the names being taken out backstage could have been a little bigger to build more excitement but this is a very minor thing in a show that is probably as close to perfect as possible.

NGPW - I have kinda been expecting a NGPW Vs nXtreme since I started in WWA. From the get go that, Strong, Ciampa, Aries and Cesaro are going to be key players in the coming season, but can Strong, Ciampa and Cesaro co exist when nXtreme attack? While well written, the flow feels a tiny bit off, yet seamlessly merges last season with this season and NGPW and nXterme.

Strong start from Enigma & Gregers, Knew it was coming being on the inside of the admin area but over the night was presented excellently well and several matches id love to watch in real life.

NGPW - Great show, nice cover story to explain Steen being elsewhere! I do think the main event was a little too long, but the ending, wow. I hope Gregers has an input as well, looks like an awesome idea that could win you the whole season.

Starts out like a normal NGPW show, which is high quality as can be expected by an Enigma show, A great mix of known and lesser known names which in turn creates an interesting array of matches throughout, also gives some scope to new matches for later in the season. The nxtreme invasion is interesting and one i am looking forward to seeing what happens in especially with gregers' style of having a seasons gimmick of some description, but with both mens class and history in WWA iam sure if anyone that they can pull it off

NGPW
Another one of the best from this week, as always NGPW delivered if this was a card advertised I'd have gone to watch it, good match up's and a few shocks like Strong beating Cesaro, I really enjoyed this one.

MWF provides us with a good first show that sets out it's storylines fast using the MWF history in a cool way to set up some of them. I loved that the diva's seemed to be getting real pushes and the main event was brutal. I felt though that some of the names being pushed in angles were quite small and this didn't excite me as much but I really look forward in to seeing how these pan out and how Tooze builds them up. I felt at times the show cut back and forth a bit too much and didn't flow amazingly well at points but the overall product was strong and really got me excited for the rest of the season.

MWF – As is always expected of Tooze, a well written and flowing show. I liked the fact that MWF has announced 5 matches for next week if not 6 for the future. I enjoyed the closing match and beat down, it’s nice to see Lesner getting beaten up and setting up for a rivalry.

Thought both shows were very well written and the matches in both was great, but for me I preferred the MWF show and thought the way it was laid out was very good and everything was clear and well structured.

I really like the HoF and kudos on being the first WWA promotion to do this. Unfortunately I felt the main event fell a little flat, which I cant quite put my finger on as to why. I am interested in where the Lesnar storyline is going however. I feel you could do with a second big name on your roster though.

MWF
I liked MWF this week, some good match ups on show, I really expected Lesnar to beat Elgin, and was glad someone had the audacity to allow Lesnar to be knocked out, albeit not by Elgin himself but setting up a nice fued. I think your only problem is that your extensive knowledge on the indy scene may be lost on a few, what I mean is there were not many “Names” on the card if you get what I mean

MWF - Another top show, expected Lesnar to destroy Elgin but a great twist and I've said this a lot, but I'm looking forward to next week's show!

Post by Fernando Tue 03 Jun 2014, 8:12 pm

Jai is back this season and it's clear he's took on the feedback from last season, I felt last season took too long to start storylines and give the fans a hook but this time around the show teased feuds from the outset and the take over of OPAL by Shane has unlimited potential. The New Blood title is a good idea as it helps get over lesser known guys and I love that the diva's division is so strong with the diva's match being joint match of the night. I felt the matches were slightly short at times but most did their job well so this is only a minor point. Most of the segments were good but I felt certain ones missed the mark slightly (James Storm's pub mainly) and the way they were written made it hard to follow who was speaking sometimes but this is only a small criticism of a really strong show with some cool ideas.

OPAL – I’m as surprised as Crowe that he managed to walk away with the title. Unfortunately for Jai, his is the last show of the week and it featured another tournament, I’m board of tournament’s now. Putting that aside, I thought the show was well thought out, it could have been written better, I feel that the constant quotation marks and spoilers, spoilt the flow.

OPAL enjoyed the show thought the segments were very well written and I enjoyed the matches themselves, I didn't like the matches being in spoiler tags as it meant I had to keep clicking which was difficult when reading the shows from a phone. but overall a good show

OPAL Fruits
It was nice of Jai to continue on from last year with Sami getting the title again, i dislike matches hidden in spoilers do not do it. The whole show was written very well maybe use less spacing between paragraphs certain bits get lost in the middle. All very well written matches though Angle/Uhaa & Chessman would be a very interesting fight in real life.

OPAL
Im going to get this out before I go further into my feedback but I don't like having to click spoilers to have to read a match, it makes it harder and is a tad off putting when readig what is a good show. However I enjoyed what was set out early, crowe keeping the title and vickie getting fired could make things interesting throughout the season.

OPAL Feedback
A well received return to action from OPAL this season. The Young Blood Championship is a very interesting, unique situation and will hopefully elevate some of the lesser known wrestlers with the stipulation at the end of the season. Wasn’t a fan of having the matches in spoiler tags as it lost it’s flow slightly but Crowe has been booked superbly in season 1 so I’m hoping for more of the same.

Triple X – Finally, in our week Viper brings his A game. A good strong show for the starting gate, clearly setting up for a few rivalries down the line. I did feel that the world title tournament matches were a little predictable, but that probably comes from knowing you and how much you love, Punk and Zayn. That being said didn’t see Kingston and Steen’s involvement in the ending.

XXX: also enjoyed the show, just not as much as I enjoyed the GOW show, seems to be some interesting storylines developing, I think putting across a 9 man over the top rope battle royal in 10 bullets points, you don't really get the full effect

XXX
Well laid out show. Good opener a few good storylines being set up seemingly, My biggest gripe with it King of the mountain matches need more then 2 people. It's like MITB it's 5-8 minimum. Enjoyed the ending of the show very much not sure if Punk going to be involved around that or if Zayn going to get someone else on side and Punk head off to Corino.

XXX Feedback
Following the assembly of this roster, I am expecting big things this season! Starting with the positives; this was a good introduction to the new promotion with the seeds of the current storylines mirroring real wrestling politics. Now onto the negative, there were a few questionable booking decisions that seemed slightly off in my opinion. Firstly Kevin Steen / Sami Zayn has already been done to many times in both WWA and in real-life, ideally they should be kept apart unless Zayn was the heel which would be really unique, the other would have Busick go over Punk but that’s probably personal preference. Defiantly potential here

XXX
I feel like I have been waiting for this show for months, with the amount of hype viper has been giving it. But I think he delivered here a very well written show, good match ups and am looking forward to the rest of the season from him. One small complaint is that the matches were a little predictable. Having Busick beating Punk in the first week, may have shook the show up a little, but predictable is not always bad and this show builds for a bright future.

XXX
possibly the best show of the week, Im glad that viper has this season controlled his ammunt of writing and is getting things across in a far more snappy and effective way compared to his previous shows. In turn I think this has helped him overall and will be hard opponent for most. Looking forward to see what happens in what could become a great 3 way feud between punk/steen and generico

Triple X - Great show, some great matches and a very good ending as well. Pretty flawless and exceptional show. Hoping for a Punk/Steen feud personally, looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Well corr blast me buh you rasslinist pigs

not going to reply to every part of the feedback but I'll reply to this...King Of The Mountain was a tournament name not the match stipulations, that's why the matches ended in submission and pinfall.  Whistle

Id suggest it's not a wise idea to take the title of an TNA match then and give it something else instead  Whistle  Let's face it people are going to read that think WTF why only 2 people  angel

I think Molly were lucky to get 0...

But rest assured, there will be a wrestling match next week.

Just a note on our feedback;

Rules wrote:The aim of the game is to be a Booker of your own Show

You can transfer wrestlers with other rosters, whether it be a straight swap, an exchange, or a swap also involving cash.

Your roster sheet is to show your current roster, together with confirmation of transfers in and out and your remaining budget.

Maximum size of roster = 40 wrestlers (this Does Not Include Staff (GM's, Managers or Commentators))

Please confirm transfers on the transfer confirmation sheet.

Foreign/Legend wrestlers can be bid for at various stages, please see that thread for further details.

You go head to head with the other Bookers's in your league Only Once

Tactics are to be posted by midnight every Sunday, details of how to post the show can be seen further down this post

PM Results Of Every Fixture Other Than Your Own To Either Nando Or Tooze, Failure to vote will result in you losing 2 points off your score that week, so for example if you were winning 4-3 through the votes, you would now lose 3-2.

3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss.

Rules Of Posting Weekly Shows
* Max of 6 Matches (no limit on PPV's)
* To be Written in Bullet Point Form
* 1 Bullet Point = 1 Line of Writing
* Max of 10 Bullet points per match
* Promos are to be brief, just a rough idea of what is happening. These do not cut into your match bullet points
* You Can Not Use Yourself As GM, this is why you are given one in your starting roster

No mention whatsoever about a minimum amount of matches.

Week two of YCW up

Tried to take on board the feedback so worked on the formatting think it looks better this week. The show is less words im still working on getting the segments shorter though, I might struggle with that as there's so much I want to say.

Really pleased with this weeks show, now ive got rid of eric which is what last week was about. I think the fed is more structured this week

Was going to write this weeks today but, it's been a, pardon the french, Frak terrible day. I want to throw white wash over it and start again, if I was to write now, it would probably be horrible...or fantastic... if I wrote a scene where Kane set the job center on fire and danced around their flaming corpses, what would everyone think of that?
