Re: Out of Character Chat v9
I usually have two windows open, one with what my opponents have said and then one where I can type my reply.
Noticed there's a chatbox option on this site, I reckon a cool idea could be as a one off is to have opponents on there doing a back and forth, really push people to promo on the fly in a battle of wits etc.

I started reading this then and was thinking WTF, I had to read it three times before I realised you were talking about internet windows and not windows in your house, was nearly so very proud of the level of OCD involved

Chatbox is a touchy subject Kurt
I'm the same as Kurt, in that I have multiple windows open. One of the previous weeks show and one with any promos listed so far.
I nearly always have a cup of tea while doing it. Not essential but force of habit......."I'm going to promo now so best put the kettle on". I can remember doing a few while drinking a beer as well.
Love to say I write my Joshua promos in pitch darkness and my laptop illuminated by candlelight but I can't. Would be cool though!

I enjoy writing Simon's promos alone, in the dark, reading aloud while I write them.

I like to start my day with a bacon sandwich, then I watch tv for a couple of hours to let my good digest, then I will go for a swim atleast 100 lengths followed by a 15 minute spa session, then I go back upstairs take a shower, rehydrate with apple and rasberry squash, then maybe an hours nap, wake up cup of tea, read the latest news on the web, then have a read through the promos so far and who I'm facing this week, then I do a bit of brainstorming, before I make a start, once I finished do a proof read and spell check before posting.

Re: Out of Character Chat v9
My day seems to start off similar to Steel's:
I’m awoken gently from my slumber by the scent of lavender and camomile tea that my man servant has prepared for me and the sweet serenade of a harp playing in the study.
I open my balcony window to overlook my gardens where peacocks are being shooed away from the polo field. I have a quick shower in the tears of swans and then a massage from several Vietnamese orphans. A light breakfast of quails eggs and truffles is followed by opening of the letters by my man servant and for him to reply to the peons that beg for my attention.
I venture by carriage to my boating lake where my man servant has set up the daily flogging and dunking of my subjects that have failed to worship my majesty in the correct manner. Brunch is then served off the naked body of a Taiwanese Eunuch and consists of slivers of kobe beef topped with oysters and lobster tails basked in 18th cognac.

Sounds like a plan
I kinda just rollover and turn my alarm clock off and then refuse to move until its 5 minutes before I have to leave for work. Once in work I'll devise a plan of how to get away with doing as little work as possible(usually spent daydreaming) then I'll go home and play XBox or Football Manager till silly o'clock in the morning and then we start again the next day. Occasionally I'll interupt my 'worktime' to write a promo

Also QOTD - bare in mind it is only PMac and JJ who know what the future holds for 6CW, what matches would you have at the next PPV Scars and Stripes, how would you book the fallout from NoG V

I'm not really sure from a personal point of view, I can see Plague and Joshua continuing with Plague wanting Joshua to become part of the Brotherhood but with Wood I'm completely unsure.
I think Costello and Wood will go their separate ways for a while and I have a feeling Wood may be targeted by The Authority due to him breaking one of their rules before N.O.G and with Mr Jones saying he was going to deal with him after N.O.G so that might bring Wood in to that storyline but I'm not sure at all.
Other matches I'd like to see/think might happen?
Bad Intentions v Helms/Daniels (with B.I taking Helms/Daniel's place in the Authority)
Max Adamson v Enforcer v GazzyD (1 pinfall, only 1 title changes hands) (so if either champion pin Gazzy they simply retain, if they pin each other they become undisputed champion or if Gazzy pins one of them he takes their title)
Reborn/Hurst v Harris/Masters for the tag titles (I see Reborn/Hurst as the best team to take the titles leading to the Harris/Masters feud)

I think Joshua will go straight to the heart of the matter. Totally destroy Team Xtreme/Brotherhood and stop Plagues little group before it starts. After all, it was Team Xtreme that smashed McCoy into Joshua and got him so irate in my promo when Joshua was trying to fix the puppet. Remember, Joshua wants suffering. It would be too easy to go after Plague. What would hurt him more would be to destroy his "brothers" before they have a chance to bring his grand plan into reality.
That's how I am playing it anyway.

I hope the brotherhood lasts a little bit longer than that but I don't see them getting Joshua...I'm hoping the brotherhood is a long term angle as I have so many ideas for promos using The Brotherhood (team extreme).
What did people think of the promo from all three together for the first time?

Re: Out of Character Chat v9
Just to add to my earlier comment the concept of the Brotherhood was born when Dubs was here...originally I wanted to call it 'The Church of Plague' but Paul and Dubs informed me of the Church Of Hero...then I came up with The Brotherhood of Plague.
It's why I started writing promos with the almost sermon feel to them and I've been waiting for it to kick off ever since talking about the idea months and months ago! Hopefully it stays long term so we can experiment with it.

Sorry paul, I was free most of last week and this week but I've got a packed weekend now so don't think ill have time, still need to find time to write my WWA show.
Ha ha it's the lifestyle of a jobless traveller, but yeah it's quite good
Went to state of origin last night that was incredible. 22 jump street this Arvo then put for the England game tonight, get over what will be a terrible hangover tomorrow then go whale watching Saturday day, then to the Christmas festival Saturday night, because Aussies like to celebrate Christmas in July as it's a bit colder at 22 degrees, Sunday recover from another hangover and go for a Sunday roast at my sisters boyfriends house.

I was sorely tempted to include them when I wrote it ha ha
Some could argue in a strange way Gazzy gained the most, freedom and a renewed hatred of Adamson?
Blade lost his arena privileges and is probably still sat on the curb outside the O2, it's a nightmare to get home from

I think Max obviously gained a lot along with Mr Jones but I have to say both of my guys were given a massive boost. Plague got The brotherhood and Wood got his confidence back (hopefully!).

Nate was the loser of the main event. Enforcer and Max have titles, Gazzy has (or so we're told) his freedom, but Nate is kinda cold.

Re: Out of Character Chat v9
Taking the personal approach to my question, I think Joshua definitely gained from the Chamber of Horrors match.
He had two huge spots during it and STILL hasn't been pinned or been made to submit (like he would ever tap out to a submission hold.....he would be too busy enjoying it )

Beyond the obvious top two, I agree Wood looks like he can kick off and I agree that GazzyD can turn his defeat around and concentrate on the positives. In fact GazzyD at NoG was the same as England v Italy - Great positive performance, some quality moments, but in the end just could not win (will not mention anything about being dodgy at the back )
People are saying Blade lost out the most, but I actually think Reilly did. Would have backed him to beat Blade without any need for a beatdown. Now we will never know for sure if he could.

In the case of Blade it was something that had to happen, we would have loved Reilly and Blade to have had an old school 6CW tear up but Blade obviously thought his future was elsewhere
For most part I don't think we've had any where people just don't show up and we just ignore they ever existed. Although for a fed over the last 18 months we have had a fair number through the roster

Re: Out of Character Chat v9
I like that view that gazzy could see NoG as a positive. He found his best form and got his career back. Think my bigget winner was Viper though, Wood picked up a huge and very emotional win which should kickstart his turnaround now
Would it be wrong to suggest Enforcer lost out. I know he retained in a really tough match but he should have been hands down favourite to win that main even with authority backing only to learn the truth at the end

Enforcer indeed lost out, but I think the question would need to be changed to "Who lost out most at Aftermath".
For me, Enforcer is odds on there.

Afternoon gents.
Just popped AJ's promo over from the 6CW site (he is having trouble getting on here).
Does seem a long time since the last show, not too long to wait now though. Things are looking good for Monday.

I do feel Enforcer levelled out. He has never liked too much help from the Authority, always wanted to show that manly pride of individuality.
He's still got his belt and his mistrust of the Authority rings true. He's closer to being where he always preferred, fighting against everybody and looking out for number one.

I think that belt might be a poisoned chalice now. I don't think Jones trusts Enforcer to be an Authority man and he certainly has doubts over his ability to get the job done.
Maybe Jones will solve it "diplomatically". He could shield Max away from GazzyD, leaving Enforcer having to defend his title against him. I think Gazzy will pick up the belt at some point, then Jones stacks the cards in Max's favour. Result - a unified champion he is more confident that will toe the line. Plus Enforcer loses his championship and Jones can use that as an excuse to boot him.

I haven't watched WWE in such a long time now, I missed the last PPV and I'm only tempted to watch the next one because it's Money In The Bank! If I watch wrestling now it PWG as they don't waste time with storylines they just put on the best matches around.
One week left at work before two weeks off so I'm ace cheers Paul, yourself?

When you are watching TV together and a female perfume advert comes on say "oh that looks alright, what is your favourite perfume?". She will tell you and then don't mention anything more. Then get it for her and surprise her. This is a double whammy for two reasons:
1) It is something you know she likes
2) It shows you are a considerate boyfriend and listens to what she says.
Job done.
