Rolling Pin! Empty Rolling Pin!

Post by bretmeharty Mon May 23, 2011 1:45 pm

One thing that really bugs me in wrestling.

When guys get put down for the 3 count mainly from a finisher they stay still for a 3 count then all of a sudden wake up or roll away the split second after the count.
I see it all the time and saw it last night with Charvo.

Before anyone says they need to get out to let the winner celebrate or for an attack on the winner but I say come on sell the loss for a little longer please.

Am I alone with this?

Any one else have any thing they would like to get of their chest thumbsup

If it is just after a really devasting move, like a chokeslam, i would expect them to sell it a bit longer. The Tombstone is a good example.

That's true the tombstone no one ever gets up from that straight away, however that's prob because it's an Undertaker move and he would never have it anyother way.

i seem to remember in WCW, during Goldbergs streak he beat someone with the jackhammer and then gave him one hell of a look when the opponent (don't remember who) moved too soon after the 3 count

It bugs me too, and although I saw it just the other day, it slips my mind who it was....

Anyway, the three count was barely made and he was rolling away and out of the ring. You don't have to lie there for an hour, but if you at least let your opponent get up first!

I agree, it annoys me.

Look at how quickly Jeff Jarret gets out the ring after being destroyed by hogan. at least sell it a bit

Cena just sells nothing! It is getting ridiculously boring. Last night being the example, truly awful.

Wasn't that the match where they shafted Hogan though? Hogan wasn't going to let JJ win like WCW wanted so they gave Hogan the win and then Russo came out saying the title that he won was now defunct and they were using a new title and champion. Basically Hogan was screwed. Hence why JJ didn't sell it.

Actually I may be wrong, because didn't JJ actually lie down for Hogan to pin?
