answered a question on being retired.

so is this official.. is he retired.. what does every one think?

any latest stories on punk can be found by just typing him into google.

i hope this was a true interview and that its not him trying to do a jericho by coming out and dismissing rumours of a return, as its in his hometown.

If you're talking about the interview I think you are, he never candidly said he was retired, but he didnt deny it either.

Eitherway, Payback is the last shot to get him back. If Bryan had to give up the title, putting it on Punk in Chicago would be huge.

But Punk knows that him not denying it would make the internet go crazy like it has. So he's managed to get himself publicity whether he returns or not.

He probably never bothered denying it as he didn't want to open himself up to further questions re him leaving. Either that or he's retired.

Wrestling seems to be an unending desire for people to return and inevitably most do. So in short, don't bother with rumours or quotes from interviews, just wait and see.

He's retired, but people come out of retirement all the time. Time will tell.
