I like Lawro - he doesn't give a toss and we know it.

I hope so, it was Hanson who stepped down post PL.onlytreblewinners wrote:Isn't Lawro retiring after the world cup?
The Beeb has been in need of freshening up. Hopefully the charisma free district of Rio is not a part of it.

And great to see local company Moy Park at the World Cup. There's more to NI meat than George Best's Cookstown sausages.

Hmm, you say that as if he is a bad player.
Decent player, just playing in a poor team.
And with Clark/Baker by his side, well, enough said on those two.

Re: WC 2010 Part 2: Spain vs Holland
another very good game so far (didn't watch Cameroon-Mexico but Brazil-Croatia was very good), intriguing tactical battle, and some really gorgeous long passes, two of which led to goals. Thought it was a penalty personally, minimal contact but enough to bring him down.
Let's hope this one steers clear of controversy, eh?

Spain living dangerously with this high line, but I still think their superior quality and experience will win through in the second half.

If they weren't on the football pitch, Costa would have his a55 handed to him.
Should be off.

Martins Indi looked like his wanted to knock him out when having a debate with the ref

What Zidane would have given for a ref this kind to headbutters.

I've always said Spain have a weak defence!
England would beat them - Spain don't have a prayer against pace and set-pieces.

Only three games, though, in those seven months - El Salvador and Bolivia being two of their opponents.
