New Fantasy Rugby League
First topic message reminder :
Right a few rule additions
Squad Size
Squads will be of 40 senior players and 20 Academy players who will come through your own clubs real life academy.
Transfers
Your squad will contain players who you can buy from 'The Marketplace'
The marketplace is the hub centre for all transfer activity within this league including released players from sides.
When the Market place opens you will be allowed the following bids
4 before opening fixtures.
2 after Round 4
2 after Season.
Players joining from clubs outside the game will 'decide' on whether or not the move suits them as a player rather than just accepting a transfer fee. This allows a more realistic approach to the game and prevents one team snapping up all the superstars.
Your bids for players may choose to include a list of pros as to why the player would choose to join your club over others.
Budgets
London Irish - £80m
Stade Francais - £50m
Exeter - £60m
Montpielier - £60m
Newcastle Falcons - £90m
Scarlets- £80m
Connacht - £90m
Gloucester £40m
The ruleing on match day squad is you must have
8 players from your original squad
4 Players from your home nation
3 U23 players
games at neutral stadiums so the playing field is level a bit more.
Transfers will be
4 before the opening weekend
2 after Round 4.
We'd look to carry it on into a second season to keep the signings interesting and preventing it becoming a superstar league.
Players who have been with your club for 2 years become original squad members so please post the date you signed them next to them on your team sheet.
We'll draw up a cup competition to run alongside with the top 4 at round 4 going into the premier cup and the bottom 4 going into the championship cup. Northampton , Leinster , Toulon and Clermount will join the premier cup and Munster , London Wasps , Bath Rugby and Ulster.
I'll need help with league tables as i'm useless at coding so if you could help that would be great.

Actually can I change my pick to Exeter? Just remembered I had them on the old game so would like to keep that going.
No worries if not though

Re: New Fantasy Rugby League
I imagine something similar to the league we had last year, the teams with the most internationals being given the lowest budget?

Montpellier have landed. Time to work out who the hell is U23, who is my starting lineup and who I need to buy!
Are we doing releases like on previous games?

What if you don't have an academy as your a french side? Bit of a disadvantage? What's the cut off date for U23?

Re: New Fantasy Rugby League
French sides have youth set ups, the difficulty will be in how much information there is on the players within them.

Montpellier have info about their youth set up on their website, but I guess depends on how good your French is.

Anyone have a clue if these blokes are TH or LH? I've got a battery of THs so far!
Na'ama Leleimalefaga [SAM]
Nahuel Lobo [ARG]
Mikheil Nariashvili [GEO]

Lobo is LH, Falcons were supposedly signing him at one point. I think Watremez is tight

Re: New Fantasy Rugby League
Leleimalefaga is a tighthead, and is absolutely massive. Nariashvili is primarily a loosehead, but has played tighthead for Georgia.

Re: New Fantasy Rugby League
In the absence of driver and in the interest of getting things moving here, I've knocked up a fixture list....
https://www.606v2.com/t56061-fixture-list#2805686
As it says in the OP that games will be at neutral venues I've just done everyone playing each other once and put where the game will be held.
