New Fantasy Rugby League
First topic message reminder :
Right a few rule additions
Squad Size
Squads will be of 40 senior players and 20 Academy players who will come through your own clubs real life academy.
Transfers
Your squad will contain players who you can buy from 'The Marketplace'
The marketplace is the hub centre for all transfer activity within this league including released players from sides.
When the Market place opens you will be allowed the following bids
4 before opening fixtures.
2 after Round 4
2 after Season.
Players joining from clubs outside the game will 'decide' on whether or not the move suits them as a player rather than just accepting a transfer fee. This allows a more realistic approach to the game and prevents one team snapping up all the superstars.
Your bids for players may choose to include a list of pros as to why the player would choose to join your club over others.
Budgets
London Irish - £80m
Stade Francais - £50m
Exeter - £60m
Montpielier - £60m
Newcastle Falcons - £90m
Scarlets- £80m
Connacht - £90m
Gloucester £40m
The ruleing on match day squad is you must have
8 players from your original squad
4 Players from your home nation
3 U23 players
games at neutral stadiums so the playing field is level a bit more.
Transfers will be
4 before the opening weekend
2 after Round 4.
We'd look to carry it on into a second season to keep the signings interesting and preventing it becoming a superstar league.
Players who have been with your club for 2 years become original squad members so please post the date you signed them next to them on your team sheet.
We'll draw up a cup competition to run alongside with the top 4 at round 4 going into the premier cup and the bottom 4 going into the championship cup. Northampton , Leinster , Toulon and Clermount will join the premier cup and Munster , London Wasps , Bath Rugby and Ulster.
I'll need help with league tables as i'm useless at coding so if you could help that would be great.

Have left a list of players I'm interested in on each page, feel free to give me a similar list or make some offers, probably won't get a chance to look at them till tomorrow at the earliest though

Re: New Fantasy Rugby League
As discovered when we had the last league, I reckon we need to get foreigns done before any real trading will happen

Re: New Fantasy Rugby League
This game is dying a death before it's even got started. We either need to get it moving or it's not going to happen.
Driver, if you are struggling for time, do you want me to take over running it? (Bear in mind if I do that I will make one or two tweaks to how things are currently with rules/procedures)

Right, I'll crack on with it when I get home this afternoon and we'll be aiming to get foreigns done and fixtures started by the weekend.
