The 3 to go down
First topic message reminder :
Starting this early.
Sadly as a Villa fan the bottom half holds more interest for me than the top half.
So with just over 3 weeks till the prem kicks off, my 3 to drop are.
Swansea
WBA
Burnley.
Swansea - Just think they will go, no real reason
WBA - Not to exciting in terms of manager, poor squad(ok rich coming from a Villa fan I know).
Burnley - Dont think they will have enough to survive.

...
Trailing 3-0 to West Ham with less than 10 minutes left, it's fair to say that Hull don't look like they'll be edging above anyone for a while yet.

Re: The 3 to go down
If your going to include Newcastle, don't rule out Everton, 1 win in 13, your never too good to go down, just ask Newcastle or West Ham. No momentum, confidence low & dressing room issues.
Still think Leicester & Hull as the first two down though.

Re: The 3 to go down
Newcastle would do themselves a pile of good with a win at Hull in today's lunchtime fixture. Victory would take the Magpies up to the 30 point mark and leave Hull stuck in the bottom three on 19. Hull are currently in freefall and I suspect that will prove a more telling factor than Carver's ineptitude.
I can't see Leicester and QPR getting out of the drop zone today with difficult away fixtures at Man United and Stoke respectively. Two home wins there.
Meanwhile, Burnley visit Sunderland - a vital game for the two teams currently just one point away from the trapdoor. Whilst Dyche can do no wrong in the eyes of some posters, it's points that really matter and I don't expect the Clarets to have any more come 5 o'clock.
Everton at Palace is another intriguing fixture amongst the muck and bullets of a relegation scrap. Despite a great start under Pardew, the Eagles aren't out of trouble yet whilst, as Liam said above the other week, the Toffees could be sucked in. Hard one to call but I reckon Everton might just edge it.
I suspect Pulis will be content for his West Brom side to get a home point against Spurs as they chip - rather than blitz - their way to safety. Like him or not, Pulis normally gets what he sets out to achieve.
Can't see anything other than a home win as Villa visit the Emirates tomorrow.
That's it for the bottom half of the table, none of whom are safe at this stage. I'll stick with my prediction from October of all the promoted teams - Leicester, QPR and Burnley - to go down. However, Hull appear to be doing their best (or worst) to muck that up.
PS Strange to do a relegation feature and make no mention of West Ham!

Re: The 3 to go down
The big one at the basement end today has to be Leicester v Palace. Just maybe a win for the Foxes.
Hull's terrible run surely to continue with another defeat away at Man City.
Feel all the other relegation contenders involved today would settle for a point now ....
