Re: WWE release...
He was fired as well.
Seems he got into a fight, must be serious as the wrestlers were always getting into fights without being fired.

Re: WWE release...
WWE saying it was due to Unprofessional conduct and the biggest rumour seems to be an altercation with a WWE employee.
Seems odd the amount of Unprofessional conduct Randy Orton has displayed and still be employed.

Good. He's as dull as ditch-water and was never going to draw a penny.

Re: WWE release...
Anyone else find it odd that WWE called him by his wrestling name. Usually they put the performers actual name like they did with Emma before re-hiring

Re: WWE release...
I'm hoping this is in some way a work.
It'd be terrible if the most interesting thing that ever happened in his WWE career was his sacking.

Re: WWE release...
His promo on Main Event seemed almost like a goodbye, so it could be an elaborate work.
I actually liked Del Rio. He'd floundered a bit in the last year or so but he was a decent guy to fill a main event spot. Suffered the same fate as most recently of peaking too early.

Re: WWE release...
He's promo from main event included the following
"We go right to the ring and out comes Alberto Del Rio with a Mexican flag. Del Rio takes the mic and says we're just a few miles away from Mexico so he's going to speak to his countrymen in Spanish. Del Rio cuts a promo and thanks his fans for their support"
Ill be sad to see Alberto go he got no help with creative always just jobbing him out recently. One of the better in ring workers. I still maintain a homeless version of ADR would be an epic face turn having to do Authority dirty work for cash before evening turning face and battering them

Re: WWE release...
Well this just got interesting WWE has fired some parting shots at ADR
(1/2) @VivaDelRio is responsible for his own actions. If you’re angry at anyone, be angry at Alberto.
(2/2) There’s no excuse for a pro athlete not to conduct themselves in a professional manner.

Re: WWE release...
Yeah, apparently the E fired him after he slapped someone who made a racial comment towards him... The company doing great for race relations, with its Xenophobic Bulgarian angle, Black Panthers parody, and now this.

Re: WWE release...
Really strange one advising of his departure by his ring name and tweeting to him as well... I doubt it is a work but still is just a bad way to handle things.

Re: WWE release...
Ring of Honor founder and RF video own Rob Feinstein claimed that Alberto Del Rio slapped a member of WWE’s social media team this past week at WWE Smackdown television tapings. The claim was backed up by PWInsider.com and F4WOnline.com as well.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer noted that the name of the social media member that received the slap was Cody Barbierri. If you dig deeper into LinkedIn and Twitter, Barbierri is noted as WWE’s manager of social media live events.
A new report is surfacing that WWE’s social media manager was supposedly asked to wipe his plate clean following a meal in catering. He joked, saying that it was Del Rio’s job to clean the plate. This was perceived as a racist joke about Hispanics. Del Rio was told about the incident and confronted him. The individual, which appears to be Barbierri, did not apologize and smiled at him. This caused Alberto Del Rio to slap him in anger.

Re: WWE release...
That explains the directness of the tweets. ADR maybe should have acted with a bit more decorum but if its true the this Cody boy is out of order.

Re: WWE release...
This has all become a bit of a farce! Especially the direct tweets. Although Del Rio is now in the Alumni section of the site, so I don't this could be a work.

I'm not even sure how that idiot could have said it without any racist connotations. Lucky he only got slapped, and even better kept his job. Horrendous double standards from the E... Remember the time Punk got fired for clocking a fan at a show? Me neither.

Those tweets sounded like R-Truth to me.
"Y'all shouldn't boo me, y'all should be booing yo'selves!"

Re: WWE release...
Seems like Del Rio is lucky to not be in jail as WWE really seems to be clamping down on violent acts between their super stars and athletes recently. We don't even know if Brie will get parole to be able to appear at Summerslam, that's how bad things are right now.
