US PGA Competition - Final Leaderboard

Like events at Valhalla this competition was a close one too with only a handful of shots separating the top 20. That said the top three from the third round managed to say firm at the top. John Cregan, Bob_the_Job and EmmDee57 all had the trio of McIlroy, Mickelson and Fowler. Roller_Coaster and Nay Bother finished just one shot behind with McIlroy, Fowler and Stenson amongst their picks.

So the competition was decide in a 'playoff' by their next best selection. Bob_the_Job's next best selection was Justin Rose who scored 276, EmmDee57 fourth best pick was Sergio Garcia on 281 but John Cregan was pretty unbeatable in the playoff having had the top four in the major in his selections so his next best pick was Stenson who came joint third with a score of 270.

So congratulations goes to John Cregan on winning the US PGA competition

I had whittled my picks down to 8 and picked 5 from 8 (I don't know why I thought it was 5 rather than 6). For the record my other 3 were Mahan, Walker & Poulter. In all honesty I 'd probably have gone with Walker. I 'd be sitting nice now if Mahan was my 6th though :-(
