THE KICK

Well I have just watched THE KICK, the story of Steven Donald and the winning of the 2011 Rugby World Cup. All in all pretty entertaining and no over the top scenes to talk of. Donald himself stated he was not as romantic as the TV movie portrayed but apart from that it was quite a factual portrayal. Did not really portray him as the super hero either.

Sports movies are difficult monsters to film in the first place, but THE KICK certainly stands out as one of the best fair play. Well worth a viewing if it does get to your TV's in the future.

Totally agree but it never won a world cup. It is still the greatest kick in international rugby.

I know him from his conversion to beat Oz in 87 at Rotorua...fan...tas...tic match that one...
