Re: Predictions all in one damn place
Surprised so many predicting Sturridge for top scorer. He's not a natural finisher in my opinion & couldn't hit a barn door at the WC. Just because Luis has gone, I don't see DS suddenly stepping up & reaching 30 goals.
Do agree on United for a domestic cup, strongest side without hassle of Europe, should see them wrap a cup up, probably the league cup.

aguero would be my first choice but he's so injury prone, add that a lot of the other tops clubs will be rotating there strikers (city, arsenal and chelsea i would imagine and rvp wont do a full season). sturridge has a whole team geared around him and if injury free will play pretty much every game i would imagine. rooney could be the other choice in that regards

Went with Sturridge for the same reason. I expect Diego Costa to struggle, Aguero and RVP to be injured a lot. Other than Rooney doesn't leave a lot of competition. He was second last year remember.

Good calls on Lamela being breakthrough, could see him becoming the player he promised now hes had a year of turmoil and has an Argentine coach to mentor him.

I predict a riot, I predict a riot.
I also predict I'll predict on other threads.
I predict that with Mourinho mind games, Arsenal will be pre-dicked by Chelsea.

Re: Predictions all in one damn place
I'm going to add some bold predictions rehashed (and two edited) from last season.
1. All London teams but Palace will be in the top 12
2. Man United will win a trophy. Arsenal won't. (Community Shield is about as prestigious as my hairy sack!
3. Jose Mourinho to finish season as the winningest coach in PL history
4. Thibaut Courtois to break Petr Cech's record for PL shutouts
5. Random fan will throw Americanisation into bold predictions
6. One established team will be relegated
7. Arsenal player commits terrible foul and Wenger sees it

Re: Predictions all in one damn place
1. Wenger to lose the plot at some point of the season with Mourinho.
2. Suarez to get sent off at Anfield as Barca draw Liverpool in CL.
3. One of the players that leaves Utd to have a pop at what's going on.
4. Ed Woodward to lose his job.
5. Title to go to last day of season again.
6. A top football manager to be investigated by Yewtree.

lol, classic, i just picked DZ cos he was at the top. basically about 75% of people went with united, just seems logical with no champs lge, that they would focus on the league cup. what an embarrassment.
