I don't really know what to think about us signing Eto'o.

Useful depth. Shouldn't really be a regular starter but he'd be sharp enough off the bench.

I still think Eto'o has something to offer, despite his age. Arsenal though, in my view would be the best destination for him.

Sent tactics viva, had them ready to send then fell asleep at 1am lol

Eto'o will be alright backup, tbh thought Everton would've gone for a younger option

Any of you folks heard of Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe? Nodge have agreed a fee with Brugge for him

His 1 goal in 2.5 games will appeal, him earning not far off £100k p/w wont. Would be better off trying to sign a Welbeck/Jay Rodriguez for a transfer fee and lower wages.

Everton nearly signed Odjidja-Ofoe on loan a couple of years ago. We had the deal confirmed, but it was all too late going through on deadline day and FIFA refused the deal.

The reports at the time were that he was a very decent player, and I think even Vincent Kompany gave him some good press. Never seen him play though

Yeah I've seen that, he seems to be in the Fer mould. I'm not sure it'll happen (don't think the player will want to come) but if he does he'd add great power to an already strong midfield. Tettey is dominating the Championship so far

Everton don't seem the type of club to write off £5m in wages over a year just to sign a backup striker.

TalkSport mentioning how Eto'o may only be earning £55k p/w, that would massively change things.

Admittedly this is assuming Cleverley is replaced, and United really need a destructive presence in there. Herrera and Carrick as a two in midfield is too lightweight for me.

The 3-5-2 doesn't work in this league for me (Prem that is), just leaves the wing back with too much to do in a high tempo league

Nope. Gianluca Gaudino made his debut for Bayern on Friday and for a large part of the game he was their best player. As good a debut as I have seen from a youngster in a long, long time.

If you get the chance, try and have a watch of it. If that game is anything to go on, Bayern have unearthed another real prospect there.

But he's still a great player. In most of the top teams there's always room for 1 "passenger" as long as they're either scoring or creating, which Mata is doing.

Nope, although he looks a brilliant prospect as well tbh. Took his goal really well and what a great ball from Rakitic. Olly signed him for what looks to be a bargain, although Giadino is much cheaper and looked equally as good

So if anyone wants Long or Gutierrez, bid now. Or if anyone is selling a good striker, let me know.
