NXT Tag Team Championship Match
The Ascension (c) vs. Kalisto & Sin Cara
Viktor locks up with Sin Cara to start the match and ends up tossing the lucha star to the floor. In comes big Konnor who smashes him into the barricade several times, tossing him back into the ring and going to work with kicks in the corner. Viktor tags back in and puts on a rest hold, slowing the pace down. He continues to manhandle Sin Cara, yelling “you’re next” at Kalisto. He sets up for a powerbomb, but Sin Cara counters out with a headscissors takedown. He tries to make the hot tag, but Konnor rushes the ring and knocks Kalisto off the apron. After a few more minutes Cara hits a big enzuigiri on Viktor and finally makes the hot tag to his partner. Kalisto comes in with a corkscrew splash off the ropes. Viktor tries for a powerbomb but his opponent floats over with a sunset flip into a pin, but Konnor breaks it up. Sin Cara flies over the ropes to take out the big man, leaving the legal men alone. Viktor goes to the floor, leading to lots of high flying spots, which ends with Sin Cara taking everyone out. Finally they roll back into the ring, and Kalisto gets caught with a huge STO. They set up for the Fall of Man, but Sin Cara trips Konnor and drags him out of the ring. Off the distraction, Kalisto hits Salida del Sol for the 1-2-3.
Winners AND NEW CHAMPIONS: Kalisto & Sin Cara
Renee Young asks the new champions how it feels to be the new NXT Tag Team Champions. Sin Cara says they’ve beaten the longest reigning NXT champs ever, and it feels amazing. Kalisto calls them the Lucha Dragons, and says the future starts tonight.
CJ Parker vs. Baron Corbin
Baron gets the jobber entrance, despite having a fantastic look, great ring gear, and the announcers putting him over way more. The crowd chants for Corbin, who takes down Parker with a wicked lariat as soon as the bell rings. He hits…what I’m going to call a delayed, hanging Complete Shot. Sort of like Sister Abigail with for the win in about 20 seconds. DOMINANT.
Winner: Baron Corbin
Enzo Amore and Big Cass come out next, and do their usual shtick – “badaboom, realest guys in ‘da room!” Enzo goes through about a dozen hair styles, and talks about what he could possible do to Sylvester LeFort after he beats him tonight. He says his options are limited…to zero options. They’re gonna shave his head bald, and Big Cass says they’re gonna be S-A-W-F-T.
Hair vs. Hair Match
Enzo Amore vs. Sylvester LeFort
Enzo wins the first lock up and puts his opponent on the mat, messing with his hair and playing the mind games. LeFort comes back with a kick to the gut and hammers away with rights and lefts, but Amore slides under and delivers a nice standing dropkick. Enzo wastes time and keeps going after the hair, and eventually LeFort levels him with a shoulder tackle and begins the slow grind. He alternates between rest holds and taunting the crowd for a few minutes. Eventually Enzo ends up rolling up Sylvester for the pin out of nowhere.
Winner: Enzo Amore
After the match the fans chant “to the chair”. Enzo and Cass pick up LeFort and carry him up the ramp, but they are attacked from behind by Marcus Louis. LeFort ends up throwing his partner to the wolves and runs for the hills, as Louis turns around into a monster big boot from Cass. They throw the bucket of hair removal product on his head, and Marcus runs to the back covered in foam.
The new NXT general manager William Regal is out to the ring. He puts NXT over as the place to be for in-ring competition, and calls Kenta the biggest international signing in the history of WWE. They roll footage of Hulk Hogan at the contract signing in Japan, with comments from tons of WWE Superstars.
Kenta comes down with a sick entrance theme, tron graphic and a big pop from the fans. He says “thank you N-X-T” and then cuts a promo in Japanese. He then says, in English, that it is a dream come true to be a part of the WWE and NXT. He says he is starting his career over as a tribute to one of his heroes, and from this point forward he will be known as Hideo Itami. The Ascension comes out and beats down Kenta, throwing him from the ring. Viktor says they’re in a bad mood and demands a rematch, but Hideo gets back in the ring and takes off his suit and tie. He dropkicks Viktor and gives Konnor some right hands until the former champs bail from the ring. He gets a steel chair, sits down in the ring and mocks them as the crowd gives him a huge “KENTA” chant.
Bull Dempsey vs. Mojo Rawley
Mojo attacked his opponent on the ramp to get this one started earlier. A few people are chanting “we want Steen” as Mojo continues to beat down Bull with rights and lefts. Bull eventually comes off the top rope with a top rope headbutt for the 1-2-3 in under a minute.
Winner: Bull Dempsey
After the match Bull continues the beatdown for a few minutes. Mojo is busted open above his left eye.
Backstage, Enzo and Big Cass are looking Sylvestor LeFort. LeFort runs off when they find him, and they bring Marcus Louis to the ring with a towel over his head. They beat the hell out of him and then take the towel off his head – 98% of his hair is gone, including his eyebrows and eyelashes. Ouch. Louis freaks out as the Realest Guys in ‘Da Room celebrate. Enzo has one word to describe Marcus Louise and it’s B-A-W-L-D.
NXT Women’s Championship
Charlotte (c) vs. Bayley
The crowd starts in with “Bayley’s gonna hug you” chants, and Charlotte owns the first few minutes of the match. Bayley gets in a few shots out of the corner, but is taken right back down to the mat. The champ lays in a few knife-edge chops, which get “Woo!” chants. She locks in the Figure Four headlock and cranks down on the hold. Eventually Bayley gets to the ropes to break the hold. Charlotte tries for the Figure Four leglock, but Bayley rolls her up for a close count. Charlotte hits an elbow but Bayley comes out of nowhere with a flurry of rights and lefts, attacking her in the corner, until she gets caught in the ropes and Charlotte takes her down. They trade elbows and battle to the top turnbuckle, and the challenger is just slapping the hell out of Charlotte, coming off the ropes with a super hurricanrana; both Divas down. After a minute Bayley goes for her finisher, but is thrown hard into the bottom turnbuckle, almost knocking her out. Charlotte nows goes to the top rope and hits about 20% of a moonsault, but Bayley kicks out to stay alive. She hits Bow Down to the Queen – which has been renamed “Natural Selection” – and picks up the win.
Winner: Charlotte
After the match, Sasha Banks comes out and starts attacking Bayley. Charlotte watches it on the monitor, but goes back to the ring and throws Sasha to the ground. She shows Bayley a sign of respect, then holds the title up and glares at Sasha Banks, who retreats up the ramp.
NXT Championship Match
Adrian Neville (c) vs Sami Zayn vs. Tyson Kidd vs. Tyler Breeze
Kidd goes after the champion and Breeze goes after Sami Zayn to start things off, and everyone brawls to the floor. Breeze has his cell phone, but Zayn decks him, takes a selfie then throws the phone away. Kidd beats down Neville then comes around the corner and attacks Zayn, but is caught in the Koji Clutch. Breeze breaks the hold and then goes to the floor, taking a few chops from Neville. Kidd comes from behind and the two double team the champ for a few minutes on the entrance ramp. They double suplex him on the stage, which will take him out of action briefly. The duo then goes to work on Sami Zayn for a few minutes, attacking him in the ropes and taking advantage of a lack of rules. The crowd chants “Nattie’s better” at Tyson. Eventually Kidd realizes he could win and superkicks Tyler Breeze, but doesn’t get the pin on Zayn. The beatdown continues though, leading to a double stomp off the top rope for a two-count. Kidd levels Neville off the apron with a stiff kick, and the champ hasn’t been in this match at all yet. After about 10 minutes, Neville finally gets back into the match with a rolling elbow on Kidd. He dumps the heels to the floor. Sami Zayn sets up for a suicide dive, but Neville cuts him off and does a springboard moonsault to take them out. A little mind games between the two babyfaces now, who are the only guys standing. The two come face-to-face now and Zayn takes off his elbow pads. Neville with a sick kick to the face, but on a handspring splash Zayn throws him over his head and the champ comes crashing down. Tyson Kidd hits the ring and puts Neville on the top turnbuckle. He sets up for a superplex, but settles for throwing Zayn straight into him, taking them both to the floor. Kidd with a Code Blue (his OLD finisher from about 5 years ago) but Sami kicks out. He comes off the top rope with an elbow drop, but Zayn gets his boots up. The Beauty Shot from out of nowhere on Zayn, a superkick to Kidd, a dropkick to Neville and everyone is down. Tyler tries for a pin on everyone but can’t pick it up. After a moment of rest, Breeze and Kidd take the champion to the top rope for a superplex, but Sami Zayn comes back and powerbombs them both, and everyone goes crashing down. Loud “this is wrestling” chant. Sami goes insane with a few dozen chops to Kidd, but turns around into a superkick from Adrian Neville. The champ hits the Red Arrow on Zayn, but Breeze throws him from the ring to steal the pin! 1…2…Zayn kicks out! Kidd puts the Sharpshooter on Breeze and he almost taps out, but Neville literally catches his hand and stops him from submitting. “Thank you Neville” chant. Neville and Zayn are trading stiff elbows again, followed by kicks, and the champ gets thrown to the floor. Kidd takes an exploder suplex into the bottom turnbuckle, and Sami shockingly comes out of nowhere through the ropes, throwing Neville into the audience. He dives through the ropes and hits a tilt-the-whirl DDT on Breeze into the floor. Helluva Kick connects on Tyson Kidd! 1…2…Neville pulls the referee out of the ring. Sami goes after him and gets caught with a superkick. Neville climbs the ropes and hits the Red Arrow. 1…2…3.
Winner AND STILL CHAMPION: Adrian Neville
After the match they roll tons of replays, and there are certainly plenty to choose from. Adrian Neville poses at the top of the ramp with the NXT Championship, as Sami Zayn sits in the ring, obviously disappointed.

Re: NXT Takeover 2 Results
Interesting to note that Triple H has just recently said they are trying to keep the 3 big signings (KENTA, Steen and Devitt) indy ring names. Then KENTA changes his to Hideo Itami. Atleast they gave it the spin of him starting his career anew, and not just flat out changing it.
Also, Sin Cara has been a revelation in NXT. He's been brilliant teaming with Kalisto, and im glad they took the tag titles.

Re: NXT Takeover 2 Results
Just watched this. Really good show again from NXT. Being slightly harsh, didn't think it quite reached the heights of the other NXT specials, but was better than a lot of WWE output this year.
Tag title match was as good an Ascension match I've ever seen. Kalisto's a brilliant fan favourite, and the match was paced perfectly. I would have been happy for it to go on a bit longer.
Enzo v Lefort was a decent comedy match. Sure the next few weeks will see Big Cass and Enzo try to track down Sylvester so he loses his hair.
Mojo Rawley got Pootchied against Bull. Don't think he'll be seen again for a while.
Charlotte v Bayley was really good. It was a shame Charlotte botched the moonsault. Her moving to a tweener and feuding with Sasha Banks should be entertaining. Hopefully Bayley stays in title contention,as she's the best womens wrestler in the WWE.
Main event was excellent. Can't wait for Neville/Zayn to go one on one. Do have my doubts that Neville can carry off playing a heel, as that's the way they seem to be going.
