Re: WWE NXT Takeover - San Antonio Results
First match was a very good story match. If Dillenger is going up then it makes sense to put SAnitY over.
2nd match was a good exhibition match to put Strong over. Almas is really finding himself working as a heel.
I dont know how DIY manage to keep putting on excellent tag matches. They made AOP look a million bucks and it was the right result in the end.
Loved Rollins hijacking the show. Really didnt see it coming. If you'd've told me that Rollins and HHH would have their first face off on an NXT show I wouldnt believe you.
Womens match was over as soon as it began. And if Peyton and Billie really didnt care who won the title, why didnt one just lie down for the other? Big hole in the story there.
Really liked the main event. It started a bit slow, but really picked up midway and I liked how they pulled off the injury angle. Surprised Roode pulled it off, I thought they were going for the 'heroic babyface comeback' but nope.
Dont know where Nakamura goes from here. Rematch at Mania weekend before going up to the main roster? Roode and him are so over with the crowd you can put them on the WrestleMania card this year and it wouldnt feel out of place.
Great show, worth a watch.

I was entralled by the Nakamura Roode match but also a little disappointed as they can both do a lot more. It was for the angle though.
No way Shinsuke is going to be in the Rumble now. If he does show up it would make zero sense with the injury angle and they cant no sell that surely. I think this allows him to be out til Mania weekend for a rematch and then he can debut on the Raw after Mania

Re: WWE NXT Takeover - San Antonio Results
The worst takeover show? Sounds a harsh way to start, but even Triple H has admitted he isn't happy with the product at the moment.
It was decent, don't get me wrong, but weaker. No bad decisions made at all, just not up to NXT's potential and the high bar set before it.
Really liked the Rollins interruption to begin with, but then it became nothing and just looked weak.
Overall, a fine watch but not unmissable at all, and for once it hasn't really raised the bar for the main roster PPV that follows.

Will be sad to see Corey go from NXT, but it makes sense cos his workload is ridic. Great news for McGuinness

I like the choice of HHH not to confront him personally in the ring.
