Questions for......
I'm happy to say that I've arranged an interview with Shane Mosley, if any of you have questions that you'd like to ask him post them here and I'll make sure to ask them for you.

Do you feel a fighter should be rated on his peak years with his 'training' years and decline (ala SRR, SRL, RJJ,) not considered?

Re: Questions for......
Wow, where do you start.
Do you think if you got a floyd fight a 3/4 years earlier the outcome could have been different?
How satisfying was your total destruction of margarito knowing he'd tried to fight you with loaded gloves? It's one of my favourite performances.
At lightweight you'd fancy your chances with Duran? Watched your golden Johnson fight recently, he was bewildered.
You always come accross as the nice guy of boxing, have you had any bad blood with an opponent? I'd guess mayorga, he seems to have that effect on people.
Balco? Prob not advisable to go there.
What's your favourite fight, proudest boxing moment?
How far can Mosley junior go?
Are you retired?
Which do you prefer snow boarding or boxing?
Any regrets in your hall of fame career?
You seem to stay in shape out of camp, What is your walk around weight?

Do you really believe you beat De la hoya in the rematch?
What fighter would you have liked to face and never had the pleasure of doing so?
who ranks higher as an atg, Manny or Floyd?

You were one of the rare few who beat Oscar in the amateurs, and you beat him twice (albeit controversially second time out) as a professional as well - but yet you never got the same kind of media attention and fanfare as he did. How frustrating was that? Did it bother you, or did you just brush it off?
You were always known for having great hand speed - which opponent's speed surprised you or gave you the most trouble?
Are great knockout punchers born, or made?
Your destruction of Demetrio Ceballos is probably my favourite performance of yours, which performance do you consider your best and favourite?
How do you respond to critics who have said that having your dad in your corner for so many of your fights has been a negative, and that you could have achieved even more if you'd gone with someone like Brother Naz a bit earlier?

Re: Questions for......
You always came across as being too small for light middleweight and the losses to Winky Wright seemed to stall your career for a few years. Do you regret taking on a challenge nobody else was interested in or do you pride yourself on having a fight anybody reputation?
Tito Trinidad, do you think you could have beaten him?
What was it about Vernon Forrest that gave you the most trouble?

How do you think you would have done in the 80's against Pryor, Duran, Leonard, Hearns and possibly Hagler? In the 90's against Chavez and Whittaker?

1) You were an exceptional lightweight, so why did you jump straight from lightweight to welterweight and miss out the light-welter strap?
2) Floyd was Lightweight in 2002 and your were a Welter, could you's have fought at catch-weight? Was it discussed? Would you have KO'd him?

Re: Questions for......
How much did Mayweather get under your skin before the fight. He has a habit of winding opponents up, did he ever get you angry in the build up.
Did you make more money in the big fights that you lost than the big fights you won?
Freddie Roach always said you were too good and he was never keen for you to fight Pacquiao. If a younger version of Shane Mosley had fought Pacquiao how do you think the fight would have gone.
BTW congrats on securing an interview with an ATG for the show.

A great deal is made of the "0" these days and before your first loss you were on quite a streak. How did you take that very first loss?
You've fought in some fantastic venues but stayed in America your whole career. Do you have any regrets about that? Where would you like to have fought that you didn't?
Retirement is often difficult for fighters, what have you got planned to keep busy?

Now that your career is over, and as someone who is/was(?) a figure in Golden Boy promotions, what do you think of the general state of boxing today?
In particular,
numerous belts per division
the weigh in rules which see fighters weighing several divisions more than their weight class
rival promotions being contracted to different networks
pay per view
Would you have any suggestions on how the situation could be improved to make the sport more accessible?

Re: Questions for......
I'd like to echo all those above on the congrats on getting the Mosley's!
For which fight did you have the best training camp?
What was your highlight of your career?
Seeing Jr come through who else catches your eye early in their career?
What one lesson have you learned that you will pass down to Jr?
What fight that slipped you by would you have loved to have fought?
To Jr,
Is it a help or a hinderance having a successful father in boxing? i.e. more opportunities but more pressure.
Cheers will have some more tonight!

Re: Questions for......
For junior. .
youre obviously a very hard puncher , and keen for the kos. Do you think youre a little over keen and leave yourself wide open?
Will you tighten your defence as the standard of opposition improves? Or is it your style to take a few to land the big one? Hows the chin?

Do you have any favourite British fighters both past and present?
Often overlooked is your Granite chin, is there anyone you fought who could take a better shot than you?

Re: Questions for......
Quite the achievement guys. This is big. Anyway
- You have previously described Manny as having snappy power, could you please elaborate on that?
- in the Mayweather fight, you had him in a world of trouble in the second round. Do you think you could have knocked him out in two had you been a few years younger? Or was he simply too good?
- According to the top rank poll at the time, only eight out of twenty eight ringside journos gave Dela Hoya the win in your second, while most fans watching on TV thought you lost. Same with Pac-Márquez III - you won't find too many who thought Manny won, yet less than 50% of the ringside journalists gave it to Márquez. Do some fights just look different ringside? Why do you think that is?

Re: Questions for......
I've never heard the term snappy power before?
Power = Force x Speed so my guess would be Manny's power would made up of more speed than force, whereas Foreman's, or Kovalev's, power would be made up of more force than speed; and would be described as thudding power, or heavy handed.
Mosely's description will probably be alot different.

"Pacquiao has some pretty good punching
power. He has some different hitting power. He's
not physically strong, but he hits pretty good, like
he has a good snap or something. He's got
something in his hands where he just, pop, and
you can wobble. He can hurt you...I don't know
how he throws his punches, but he does
something where when he lands, it has a
different impact. I mean, I get hit by, even now, I
get hit by bigger guys all the time and there's no
dazing, I don't wobble, I don't do any of that
stuff. I don't feel like I'm getting ready to wobble
or anything. With Pacquiao, he just touches you
and you're already wobbling. It's not like he's
heavy-handed. He's not heavy-handed. It's
weird. It's the weirdest thing," Mosley.
He did explain it sort of.
