Training aid for left knee
Chaps,
I'm striking the ball almost the best I have in my life. However, I have one recurring problem that is I have a tendancy to dip my head a bit during my backswing and consequently my left knee breaks down a bit. This means I have to lift a bit during the downswing rather than being able to make a nice squat.
Clearly one leads the other and if I can control one the other will follow. However, I also often 'tinker' with other things during my practise session and, wrongly, forget what my main focus should be. Therefore I would be interested if anyone had seen a training aid that helps with this? I've seen this, but it seems to help maintain right knee flex rather than maintain left knee height. I know I could probably stick a bucket between my legs but wouldn't mind something a bit more 'focused'.
Cheers in advance,
Simon

Are you sure it's 1) head dips, followed by 2) left knee breaks down? Rather than the other way around? TBH, if you're hitting it that well, you must be doing something right .

Keep thoughts of the head simple. behind the ball is all you need to master.

No, you're right of course, my initial post was misleading. The left knee breaks down and that causes the head to dip. The problem is that it can be destructive because it draws my weight right onto my toes, from where I have to save the swing by coming over the top. The result is either a 10 yard fade or if my head has dipped a lot, I have to lift through impact and thins can occur.
I'm striking it well, but when I have such a clear and, in some respects, straight forward path to improvement I'd be mental not to try! I'm pretty sure that I could focus on either one (i.e. maintain the left knee or keep the head height) and the second would follow.
