My son in the past 9 days has played 4 matches, a tournament consisting of another 3 short matches, 4 training sessions and across country race of 3 miles.
He'd happily double that in that time if he could too.

That's a lot of sporting activity and that's not including school and homework. I'm no expert but isn't that a lot of strain on the body of a developing child?

Can't believe people are getting in a hissy cos a player doesn't think he can play to his best as he's tired.

We've seen with Owen how burning out happens and Rooney to some extent

Commitment, attitude, work rate is the minimum I'd expect from any player.

Best out of a bad bunch I'm afraid, he was let outstanding just better than what we had playing and tbh it's not hard playing better than Henderson.

I agree with Viva on expecting it, although that doesn't mean it happens.

You can see in Wilshere that he cares about playing for England, which you don't see in all players.

He is just frustrating because he hasn't progressed at all since he came back from his injuries, in fact he has gone backwards. He had so much promise and so far it is being completely wasted.

You're correct Wilshere seems like one of the few that genuinely cares about England and I've seen it at Arsenal at times he looks like the only one that is bothered. 

The reason why I'm so hard on Wilshere is because I have high expectations off him. He has so much talent, I hope he can stay away for injuries and that Wenger can find his best position as I feel that's also hampering his progression.

I'd love to dress as a minstrel but it's sadly massively racist.

I went last year as Super Mario, in a tight costume. The scary part was everyone pretty much seeing my junk.

Got kicked out of a nightclub that night for keeping my 'M' hat on despite several warnings. Apparently it was for security reasons, ignoring the obvious that I was easily the only one dressed as Super Mario.
