Rusev approaches Rock now. Fans boo as Rusev takes the mic. He calls Rock an American piece of garbage. Rusev says this is Rock's last warning... leave now or get crushed. Rock mocks Rusev and his breath. Rock says Lana is beautiful in person but walks around like someone shoved a Smirnoff bottle in her Putin. Rock does the "it doesn't matter" line on Rusev. Rock says there's a reason why nobody has been able to beat Rusev - he's bigger, stronger, more dangerous than most in the back. Rock calls them both international assholes. Lana says Rusev is hungry and Rusev readies for a fight. Rock says just like the great Jay-Z once said, "allow me to re-introduce myself..." Lana and Rusev make their exit as Rock celebrates. We go to the announcers and see Rock going around ringside and greeting fans. He greets the announcers as well. Rock hops into the crowd and hugs two fans in wheelchairs. He goes back over and greets more fans at ringside as his music plays.

Re: WWE Raw Results - Spoilers ahead
Only watched a little of Raw this morning (mainly the Adam Rose section for my sins which was God awful)
Doesn't look like much else will be worthy of stopping the fast forward bar the obvious (Hornswoggle Gator vs El Torito of course).
Looking forward to actually seeing the hot dog stand skit.

Re: WWE Raw Results - Spoilers ahead
Once again Ambrose steals the show. Hopefully Cena puts him over clean at HiaC.
Was genuinely surprised when the Rock came out. Glad to see they can still catch you off guard.
The rest was the usual crap Poopie filler rubbish that has plagued WWE for the past few months. No direction, no motivation, no reason to invest in any characters, nothing.

How can you say the rest was filler?
Gator vs Bull was contender for MotY!
Apparently the Rock appearance was a one off as Dwayne was in town for another meeting. It wasn't planned at any of the run throughs for the show.

Re: WWE Raw Results - Spoilers ahead
I 'd 've rather he interupted a Miz promo instead of the scratching the Big Show match. The Rusev angle is probably the only one they are doing perfectly so they need to keep him hot.

Re: WWE Raw Results - Spoilers ahead
Thought it was a very good Raw for the most part. It does go to show that they should be back at two hours, but they are so desperate to use the filler nonsense like Rose and the Divas that they actually have to be 3 hours just to get in two decent ones.
Ziggler and the Usos vs Weirdos and Cesaro was a very good match, thought Miz and Sheamus was entertaining thanks to Mizdow, and that gimmick had rewards again with a funny skit earlier in the night.
Bo bit worked, main event was interesting and Ambrose and Cena had a wonderful dynamic throughout the show. The opening and closing were both brilliantly done and had the crowd hot.
However, The Rock unsurprisingly stole the show. Very good segment, and impressed with how well both Rusev and Lana stood up to the scrutiny of what was easily the biggest moment of their careers so far. My only problem with it is that Rock could have mentioned how his buddy Big Show was banned from competing so he delivered his message for him. Throwaway, but would have worked well for the popularity of Show and the momentum of the story.
Really enjoyed it.

Re: WWE Raw Results - Spoilers ahead
I agree with you about the quality of the matches Dolphin, but good matches dont mean jack Poopie if they dont have a story around it. Why not have the Uso's cut that promo live instead of pre-recorded?
They dont need to have a match every week to advance a feud. Theres no motivation to anything ANYONE does right now. Even the Authority. They made a big point about them wanting to get the title off Cena but never explained why. How can I get emotionally invested in someone like Sheamus when all he does is square up to Cesaro every week?
If you go back 10 years nearly every angle had a fluent story line, ever the feuds in the lowercard had a story behind them. Its so infuriating because its the only thing holding them back right now.

I am so glad that mizdow is getting the reaction I have been saying he deserves.
Re: WWE Raw Results - Spoilers ahead
There were 3 matches that were exactly the same as last week's Raw, it's just lazy booking.
I'm surprised anybody is deeming that as a good Raw, I dread to think what a bad Raw is then if that was considered anywhere near good. The Rock saved the show and that has no long-term repercussions.
The fact that the live crowd completely rejected the Gator-Bull stuff shows just how awful it is, a lot of the time the live crowd will be more into it as it is a change of pace for them, but they were having none of it. It was incredibly awkward as everybody in the ring wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.
I feel like even the Ambrose-Rollins feud is now losing a lot of steam because of Cena's involvement. I'm also confused as to where they are going with Ambrose, as I feel his character, and by association Rollins' character, is losing its edge with these silly segments with gunge and condiments.

'Gunge and Condiments' will be the name the Briscoes they'd be repackaged as if they ever joined WWE.

Yep, next time someone crushes my skull with a cinder block I'm going straight for the ketchup!
RAW was crap. The Rock's appearance was nice but it would have been nice to see Rusev lands some blows. Oh well, I guess the new stars aren't important.
Miz loses to the IC champ which qualifies him for a fued with the US champ how? Ditto Cesaro with the IC champ? There was a great opportunity here for the WWE to make these titles seem important while Lesnar is off TV but sure.
The Reigns interview went well at least. Oh no wait, it was flat as a pancake. WM may need rebooked.
As it stands at the minute it wouldn't surprise me to see HIAC draw the least buys of any WWE PPV in a long time.

If they were going to pretape the interview with Reigns, why not actually do a proper sit down interview and show that instead of trying to kid on it was live? Its stupid wee things like that that are so easy to fix that infuriate me.

Rock was awesome, love that guy so much! Crowd loved him!
Tbf, Raw has been woeful for the last month or so, but this one was slightly better.
Positives
The Rock.
Dean Ambrose nailing Cena at the end.
Damien Mizdow, brilliant and he got a good crowd reaction.
Lots of improvements needed though.

Re: WWE Raw Results - Spoilers ahead
Ambrose (Rock aside) is THE reason to watch WWE nowadays, the references regarding it being silly etc, because of course Austin's Beer Truck was done in all seriousness.
I worry for some of you at times, the Ambrose/ Rollins rivalry is the best feud WWE have had in eons, the only downer is the insertion of Cena and other stooges, it's a rivalry that for the first time in a long time feels it could be one that could easily become a Hogan v Piper, a HBK v Bret Hart, a Rock v Austin. But he used some condiments so let's poo poo all over it like we're Guardian readers overanalysing why he spent 2 hours stealing a hotdog cart.
Just enjoy it.

The best feud WWE have had in eons? Really?
I think you're being swayed by the two wrestlers in the feud rather than the quality of the feud. I think Ambrose and Rollins are actually worse than they were in The Shield and although they have been limited by Ambrose being off filming the feud has been a bit repetitive.
I think that since Summerslam, this is one of the worst periods WWE has had in a very long time.

Re: WWE Raw Results - Spoilers ahead
There was a point to Austins comedy skits - he was Wee weeing off the boss. He was doing what everyone wishes they could do to their own boss, hence the beer shower, zamboni, hospital visit and whatever else. When Austin was run over by Rikishi via HHH there was none of these things, because it didn't fit the fued.
Rollins attempted to cave in Ambrose's skull with a cinder block after stabbing him in the back. So it makes no sense - as usual. It's almost like they're trying to recreate Austin in Ambrose without giving it much thought.

Theres a reason he 's called the 'lunatic' fringe. He's not trying to urine the boss off, hes just doing whatever he wants to.
