Kavana gets drunk and picks a fight with the most innocent friendly person in the house
I still don't know who Kavana is, and my wife has told me more than once.

I just loved the bit where he said:
K: Perez is no longer my enemy. Its him (pointing to cheggers) now.
Cheggers: I am not your enemy
K: Yes you are my enemy and you will see why tomorrow
*Cheggers looks on into space bewildered, wondering what he has done*

They were clutching at straws quite a lot - They tried their best to get something out of non stories even past 11pm - How many times did they go to Spurs training ground for the guy to say again that Adebayor was not leaving?

They should have definitely made more of Chelsea signing Raymond the Bastard from Max and Paddy.

Paul Merson saying the deal of the night was Fletcher going to WBA. And Villa failing to sign anyone attacking, when they have the worst goals scored record of all 4 leagues.

Re: Out of Character v.12
Is anyone else here into their comic book movies?
Just heard the news that Marvel studios and Sony have come to an agreement to integrate Spiderman into the Marvel Cinematic Universe... this not only means that future web slinger films could include other Marvel characters but also that the path is now clear for Spiderman to appear in Captain America 3 (Civil War) and the further two scheduled Avengers films (Infinity War parts 1&2)... can not wait for this to finally happen!

Am I into comic book movies ? Have you read my 6CW stuff
My son loves Spiderman and did ask recently why there isn't a film with Spiderman and Hulk in - Great that there now will be
I didn't really enjoy the first Cap movie but loved Winter Soldier so really looking forward to the next one. Avengers just from the Age of Ultron teaser looks all kinds of awesome - The addition of Spidey takes them to a whole new level

So I guess thats curtains for Garfield as Spidey then, shame as I actually liked him....much better than Maguire
Wonder who'll be next up to don the red and blue suit then
They had the New Avengers trailer on t'other night before Kingsmen, looks ace....the geek in me was salivating....Fantastic Four on the other hand does not

Re: Out of Character v.12
Such a great time to be a Marvel mark... MCU phase 3 looks amaze balls, Spiderman finally getting involved with the other Avengers, new Xmen film should be awesome as Apocalypse was always my favorite bad guy from the cartoons and Daredevil about to start on Netflicks.
Agree on Garfield as spidy... he should be a cocky, smart cracking kid, not awkward and shy as the Maguire films portrayed him... big shame as I think Garfield is the perfect choice for the character.
I would disagree on the F4 trailer though... I actually like the fact it looked darker and more gritty, the previous two films were far to 'kiddy' and overdone and I hated the casting (Johnny Storm as the only exception), Doom was particularly bad but maybe that had more to do with the character arch, it was completely shocking ... I really hope they manage to get Dr. Richards right this time... in my mind he is like the Dr. Who of the Marvel world.

To be honest M I was never a Fanatstic 4 fan, no doubt it will be better than the previous two movies but can't say I'll be in a rush to watch it
Intrigued by the next X Men movie, looks to be shaping up nicely with the recent additions to the cast, looking forward to seeing Sophie Turner play somebody other than Sansa Stark because I think she has the making of a good actresss but just hate that character in Game of Thrones

haha Paul- very true! I didn't let my Mrs. see the inner geek until we were married... now its too late!!!!!
She just rolls her yes now when I have the JR/Stone Cold or Marvel news podcast on whilst doing the washing up!
The Xmen cast looks good... Turner's playing Gene Gray right? I also think the new cast (from 1st class onwards) are head and shoulders above the original cast from the first three films...Fasbender (*spelling?) is one of my favorite actors right now. As much as I love the wolverine character and Jackman I hope the new film has a little less of him in it an more magneto/prof x.

Walking Dead was good - A slow starter to the second half of the season even with that shock
Not watched BCS - Probably wait till there's a few I can watch back to back
At the moment the TV that I watch on a weekly basis is:
Walking Dead
Murder in the First
Catastrophe
There is another police drama but cant remember it at the moment

Re: Out of Character v.12
I hate gambling, a year or two ago I got really good at it for about 2 months and I was winning about £200/£300 a weekend due to a technique where you make big bets on small odds and slowly build up your money. All of a sudden though I started to lose and it revealed a bit of an addictive personality that I have which is not a good thing.
Making small bets was boring but losing £100 because a goal wasn't scored was awful.

Re: Out of Character v.12
I have never understood the addictive personality idea - I do lots of things because I like to, I don't want to give them up because I like to do them - Is that an addiction or is it only an addiction when the negative impact is too great? - For example I gamble - I lose money, but never too much or I drink, I get some bad hangovers, but never allow it to impact my family or my work
The NHS says - Addiction is a strong, uncontrollable need to take drugs, drink alcohol or carry out a particular activity such as gambling. It becomes the most important thing in your life and leads to problems at home, work and school. There's no single reason why addictions develop - So is addiction always negative? - What if I was addicted to exercise or addicted to being the best at work to provide for my family?
Sorry too deep for a Wednesday morning?

Re: Out of Character v.12
I have an addictive personality for sure, when I used to gamble I'd almost forget that it was real life and bet stupid amounts almost for fun. One week I lost £700 and that was when I realised that I should stop myself. I've gambled since but the £1/£2 bets just never seem to do the same thing for me.
I've always been like this though, once I like something I have to do it more and more...it's why at one point I was promoing for three separate characters, writing matches, doing graphic design work and writing WWA shows...
...now I only have two characters (progress) haha.

Addiction is always bad, even if you're addicted to helping the homeless, you'll still be putting something ahead of your family.

Indeed. The level of interest in difference to addiction is quite high. Ive seen bad gamblers and I've seen addicts, the latter often have better judgement on their normal bets but lose it when the addiction takes over

Re: Out of Character v.12
I would never claim to have an addiction as I think people who nonchalantly diagnose themselves with something serious are the worst types of people. The amount of times I have to bite my tongue when someone claims to be a bit OCD or wakes up in a bad mood and joking calls themselves bi-polar etc.
Another reason is that I (eventually) know when to walk away. The week I lost £700 was a wake up for me and since then I've not really bet on anything apart from the odd £1 throw away bet.

All three goals were questionable IMO... It was 100% a dive tho... Not great to see from the England captain.
Thoughts on last nights Walking Dead?
I thought it was a solid episode... A bit slow but it needed to be to deal with the fallout for Beth and tyreece... Loved Ricks 'we are the walking dead' speach

i think its a dive but its also the correct decision.
Stupid from the keeper charging out and impedes the run the run of rooney whether he touches him or not. Rooney was goong nowhere, dont know why the keeper did what he did
Think the 2nd was a push by Fellaini thougj, had no issues with the first one

Simple he cant run through the keeper who threw himself in front and blocked rooneys route to the ball.....but as i say its idiotic goalkeeping anyway so i have very little sympathy that the penalty was given
From our point of view though it just means we're getting d!cked by Arsenal in the next round though lol

Re: Out of Character v.12
The goalkeeper makes it easy for him. There is no way, in real time and from the referees angle of view, that you can give anything other than a penalty.
Only after the event with the help of replays that we can have this discussion. Yes it was a dive. Yes it was a penalty.
Silly but true.

But you can jump over a tackle without falling forward, especially one that was no where near connecting. If that isn't simulation then what is?
