I am considering raising my elitism to such a stage I won't even acknowledge my own existence. TSMR is already adjusting to the idea she has to book an appointment to speak to me. Rather worryingly in the four weeks the system has been in place, she has not bothered.

Yes mate, have seen them pushing 20 times now and they have never been less than alright, and when they're on form or the album they are promoting is good they are still a cracking live band. I am going to Leeds in March. TSMR is making her Charlatans debut.

Hello everyone.  Apologies for the unsubtle segue into my weekend anecdote but I was in Paris, eating a falafel while on the way to the Musee de Orsay when a hat, boots and oversized sunglasses ultra-chic French bird hurried past us, next thing she's skidding along with her arms waving all over the show.  Turns out she's stepped in a monumental dog turd.  It was phucking huge, two mounds either side of the flat bit where she'd slid, then a few dregs she'd displaced and the rest of it clinging to her boot .  She managed to keep herself together pretty well, spitting and cursing, but, a few minutes later, I saw her in a small side-road scraping it off on the kerb.  Cracked me up something idiotic.  Galtova's becoming a militant feminist so she refused to see the funny side.

I enjoy my visits to Paris but this has to be the best one yet.  Not only the story above but I also got back the tracksuit pants I left behind last time.

Then go for the extra thick socks today if possible.
Nothing like a fresh pair out of those 3-packs you can get... that spongy, warm feeling which envelops the hoofs well and gives one a greater air of confidence to go about one's day.

I like my socks plain black, cotton rich. Still in dressing gown and slippers at the moment.

I like to wear two pairs of thinner socks at the same time.  Sensational!

I like quite a high legged sock. Difficult to get hold of ones of sufficient length.There is little worse satorially than the hairy gap when you are seated.

I also prefer a thinner sock.

Thinner is where it's at.

I have a pair of socks with a leather sole much like the vikings or romans would have worn. Excellent for when visiting friends / relatives who are too tight to have the heating on.
