Re: European Challenge Cup Round 4
Saracens 30-9 La Rochelle
More creative spark at 10/12 and Sarries could have been looking at a rout.
Irish 28-12 Cardiff
See a messy affair in the pack but some real class in the Irish backs to take the win.
London Welsh 30-18 Edinburgh
Edinburgh poor last week against the real life Welsh and see them struggling against CJs back row.
Zebre 17-32 Exeter
Touch of class to the Exeter backs and should win well in Italy. Bench aman down though with Fearns named twice.
Stade 16-18 Bath
Some form issues for the Bath pack and see them struggling a bit here until the late emptying of the bench.

Re: European Challenge Cup Round 4
Saracens 24 - 20 La Rochelle
Enough to win but not enough for a BP.
London Irish 29 - 23 Cardiff
Irish are well set out but Cardiff have enough to deny the TBP.
London Welsh 34 - 18 Edinburgh
At their strongest Edinburgh can cause real problems but they just aren't at that level today and at home Welsh get the job done.
Zebre 20 - 26 Exeter
Tough away trip where the Chiefs are denied a TBP. That Zebre midfield is packed with class.
Stade 24 - 28 Bath
Toughest trip of the lot but Bath have enough to win it.

Fluxy wrote:Saracens 42 - 21 La Rochelle
Much like the reverse result from lat weekend. Sarries have some lads coming into form despite the changes, La Rochelle more focused on the Top 14. This result pretty much set ups an easy run for Sarries in the group.
London Irish 26 - 20 Cardiff Blues
One of the tougher ties of this Challenge Cup round. Cardiff much changed and some of their big guns return, to provide them a stronger platform. However Irish overall have a huge ability and quality throughout their line up and are looking to use the game to gel in some combinations for the league. They have enough to secure a solid home win.
London Welsh 24 - 21 Edinburgh
Again one of the other tougher games of the round. Welsh have the graft and power in the pack to take the game away from Edinburgh. The Scots have some real attacking threat out wide, however they are lacking a platform and possession from the Welsh pack. Despite Tales being flakey with the boot, he helps kick Welsh to a home victory.
Stade Francais 18 - 28 Bath Rugby
Two strong looking sides, but this Stade side have players which aren't quite the quality they once were. Bath have some good lads coming through and their backs look electric with ball in hand. They have more than enough power up front to help gain possession and a platform for the backs to win the game.

London Irish 32 - 15 Cardiff
Irish stronger most areas against poor Cardiff side.
London Welsh 27 - 19 Edinburgh
Edinburgh not firing, routine win.
Zebre 6 - 28 Exeter
Zebre awful, easy win.
Stade 22 - 28 Bath
Hardest game, Stade have great squad but Bath bit too much.

Re: European Challenge Cup Round 4
Saracens 27 - 19 La Rochelle
Sarries will have some issues with the two young flankers, as French packs always very physical and aggressive, but apart from that Sarries have a great young team with enough experience to win.
London Irish 30 - 17 Cardiff
Love the Irish centre combination, is world class and can see them causing the Cardiff defence all sorts of issues and the pack will have just enough to edge the opposition and give the backline the space to attack.
London Welsh 38 - 19 Edinburgh
Bonus point win all day long, pack will cause the Scottish team all sorts of problems. Pretty easy win.
Zebre 16 - 28 Exeter
Seems like Zebre have put an extra man on the bench and start with only 14 players...Exeter's trip a little harder in that they have a man short on the bench but still win.
Stade 19 - 25 Bath
Hard place to go away to, but Stade (like a lot of French clubs) don't overly take this competition seriously - Bath have a strong enough team to win by a couple of scores.

Sarries 38-12 La Rochelle
Sarries have enough experience in key areas today.
Welsh 26-15 Edinburgh
Welsh to take advantage of backrow battle.
Zebre 14-30 Chiefs
Chiefs too strong up front for Zebre.
Stade 18-24 Bath
Baths bench wins game for them.

Re: European Challenge Cup Round 4
Irish 28-13 Cardiff if irish win parity of ball they have more class in the backs to convert this to points
Welsh 32-20Edinburgh Welsh have better players and Edinburgh in rotten form.
Routine
Zebre 11-28Exeter Zebre not a great team. Exeter better in key positions
Stade 17-24 Bath at home stade will be competitive but the have also shown their disregard for the tournament. Bath have the class for a great victory

Re: European Challenge Cup Round 4
Saracens 39-16 La Rochelle
As last week, don't know much about La Rochelle, but Sarries team looks strong enough in key jerseys to win comfortably
Irish 27-19 Blues
Irish look stronger throughout the pack, and that centre combination could be a great thing to watch when they gel. Plenty off the bench to seal it
London Welsh 31-20 Edinburgh
Like the look of LW pack, plenty of power and technical ability. Halfbacks are solid and Nadolo will probably get a hatful!
Zebre 7-44 Chiefs
Just a vast gap in every area of the field, Exeter can score when they please
Stade 22-26 Bath
This'll be a good test for a young Bath side and I fancy them to come through it. Plenty of quality off the bench to see them home too
