Re: 6CW Chat V.2
Afternoon. Just bumping this:
If there are any ideas for matches, then let me know. I will start putting it together over Xmas. So if we could decide on a "card" of the matches, then anyone wishing to promo for it can do so next week.
I'm planning to do a highlight show of the years best matches, including everyone in the current roster. I might suggest a card goes up of what matches are being shown so anyone can promo retrospectively if they wanted. So like talking about the match, relevant spots and the aftermath. Then I can piece it together like a show.
People like that idea? Any ideas for matches shown? Really want one per character really, just like a normal card.
Way I see it is you keep in character. Matches get put up on a card and I will also list various spots/topics that I highlight as well. Then those that want to promo can mention about them.
So if there is a big table spot, wrestler a could say "I completely destroyed him" while wrestler b says "it didn't hurt at all". Then could have a quote from a commentators perspective.
Crap example but I'm picturing how wwe shows like this are done. There is footage of the match, a spot, then it cuts away to the wrestler involved talking retrospectively about that spot, before going back to the footage.

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
Well I'd say if it's a show recapping the best matches maybe go through a pick a match from each month? I'm sure you can get some classics...
JJ v Keith Leone
Team Authority v Team 6CW (Interview Gazzy)
Use the show to tell the story of 2014 in 6CW?

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
My first thoughts were:
JJ v Keith Leone
Grace v Dubois (Sequel)
Chamber of Horrors
I think the Harris v Masters match at Ground Zero should be there and one of the Enforcer v Adamson battles.
I don't want to constrict everything to the end of the year though. So looking at Day of Reckoning and NOG as well.
Any suggestions, especially those involving their characters, would be greatly appreciated. Doesn't have to be a PPV by the way.

Gateway to Glory match with Adamson's biased opinions would be good, maybe even the falls count anywhere 6CW Title match between Adamson, Masters and Harris.

I'll take a singles match please...the more spots I can throw in the better
The card has a few surprises for me, I'm shocked to see Joshua and Wood go head to head so soon so expect something to happen...hopefully not an exploding TV .
I also expect Bam to be attacked again and maybe even the G.A.Y.S to be beaten down pretty badly...I have a feeling I know who is behind it as well but as if Enigma I'll keep it to myself for now.

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
Hope the interview went well.....did you have to role play? That should be easy really.
One more day for me to go....probably be a complete washout, what with the office Xmas party that night.
Think managers are on the rise in 6CW. You have Glory and Hathaway already. Now you can add Jones and Marinov to the mix.
Could also class McCoy as one as well.

Went ok - No role play but when asked about making tough decisions I did think about the decision to crown Adamson as champ
I've got a final day of shopping and wrapping tomorrow and then I am all done - No Xmas party though - Teetotal for the rest of 2014
I like a good manager, always helps to have that additional mouthpiece - It's nice having created Jones to almost hand him over to someone else for their use

I was really hyped for it, the graphics looked amazing and the idea of career mode being back in was really good but it just hasn't really delivered for me. The graphics are great and the game play is realistic but it almost feels too realistic. The gameplay is a bit too slow and the stamina system is really annoying. The physics are pretty cool but sometimes cause the game to look realistic. The roster is too small but at least Punk is in it haha.
The biggest issue for me is career mode or as I like to call it 'Dolph Ziggler Mode'. You're constantly being told that creative has nothing for you and even when you win the title nothing really happens...I think the idea is good in theory but could have been done so much better...Once my career mode is over I don't see myself playing it again as it takes too long for anything to happen and is repetitive. The game overall isn't bad it's just ridiculous the stuff they've taken out...no create a move, barely any options when creating superstars, story mode taken out...
Before I rant I'll stop myself but let's just say I'm glad I've got myself a bunch of other games.

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
The gameplay ive not found slow at all just need to stand in the right place. Stamina has annoyed me. I think their plan was a small-ish roster and fill out with DLC.
The problem with Career mode is you get 3 PPV's a year. Had a fued vs the Shield and with Ric Flair (weirdly)
My biggest complaint is the online mode. You choose your 6 favorite superstars and 6 favorite match types then it'll find you a game you don't want. Wish they left it like the old system just pick and choose your match.
I only have Fifa/WWE/Last of Us so far but shall be investing in others soon enough..

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
For me if the career mode was better I'd be happy with it, I just don't get how Smackdown! Here Comes The Pain has a better career mode with more adaptable and less boring storylines.
I had an idea that you'd get a few stock storylines like Wyatts/Shield attacking you, Ric Flair's challenge etc and then you'd have the best fan made stories being added in to fill out other months between the proper storylines...the fan made ones would be checked by a team of admins to make sure they were good/sutable but it would give you options of choosing a face or heel path way etc.

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
Aye. Sounds like that would have been a good route to go down, shame they were just lazy and put zero effort into it
I had enough when i beat cena to a bloody pulp yet because of the stamina system i was too knackered to go for a pin after the GTS and while i was recovering he got back hit and fu and won......needless to say i had to show an immense show of maturity to not launch the controller

See I told you...a realistic WWE game!
I've had a few weird moments with the game, I have Regal as my manager and sometimes when I win he turns towards the crowd and begins to throw punches and kicks...no idea why! I've also seen where the physics have failed slightly which is hilarious...New Legacy have the best videos of it...it's almost like it's their job to break the WWE games.

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
Seems they have made it too realistic and it has lost it's fun.
Don't think you can beat the Smackdown series myself.
Anymore suggestions for the look back show? I am prepared just to pick the matches today myself and put a card up, if there is interest in it.

No Mercy was awesome, only i had the faulty cartridge that kept on resetting itself, you'll never know disappointment quite like loading that game to continue your career and hearing the APA theme music and knowing all your progress was gone

I've left it so that the B&F can either carry on or you can finish it here...I feel like despite only having a few parts it's covered quite a lot but it could easily carry on as Wood is a bit talkative haha
I'm quite proud about the mind games line.

QOTD/Tomorrow:
If you were to take your character and put him in a tag team/faction with real life wrestlers who would they be...what would the name be? You can pick any wrestlers from any fed.
For Wood I'd start a faction with:
CM Punk, Prince Devitt, Adam Cole and Johnny Gargano under the name "Lost Boys". The style would be face guys with an arrogant style to them, the faction would quickly implode with Wood, Punk and probably Cole fighting for control to be leader.
