Last season I was a bit sceptical about him to be honest, he took a while to bed in. However he is doing pretty well for us, and has filled in at number 8 for us a fair few times too. I think to be honest his leadership and experience has been more valuable to us than his skills as an openside though.

Interesting. Care to predict a score for today, Spidey?

Would also be interested to know what Scarlets fans think is the reason behind the enormous discrepancy in their team's home and away form. I'm sure I read that Scarlets have won 12 out of the last 13 at home, which is pretty amazing.

Scarlets have only lost to Quins (HEC) and Saints (LV=) at home in 2014, but have not won away from home since Feb 2014. Personally I can't see anything other than a bit of a bum kicking for us, the loss of 6 front row players is just too much to absorb against a top side. If it were Embra or Dragons I would hold out a bit of hope, but Glasgow are too good a side not to punish us.

Regan King is off the pace, he was before he departed for Clermont IMO. He's good bench cover and and LV cup player at best. I did think Elias looked good when he came on Vs Ospreys. Torin Myhill, not seen anything of him, he must have spent the last few seasons up in middle earth?

Torin is still a teen I believe, seeing as he is Kirby's little bro. A lad I know who plays for the RFC rates him highly.

From what i have seen of him at the Scarlets, you seem to have make a more physical player, as a result he is less of a fetcher but probably a better all round player than when he was still at Glasgow. I would take him back at the Warriors in a hurry as Fusaro isn't physical enough for top flight rugby. Aren't you a bit harsh? he was the standout player a lot of time for you last season when i saw him but he does seem to be that bit less effective this season. Still he is easily the best Scottish open side.

Vince, he did get into his stride as the season went on, but at the start I would have been happy to have played Turnbull there instead. Like you said by the end of the season, when he got into his stride he was looking good.

I think his fetching talents are top class, as the development of Cubby shows, and to be honest he is definitely the best open side Scotland could use, and probably not far off Warns/Tipuric either.

Hope Clancy doesn't waste too much time on the scrums this evening. But would also like him to show a bit of empathy in other areas of the game.

Matawalu has just lost ground for Glasgow after a penalty. FFS tonight is not the night to be handing the ball away. Im not saying dont take a quick tap, but dont take one and then give it away cheap. make sure you have enough support to retain possesion.

He was quite the opposite then, suggesting the penalty should be reversed in the favour of the Scarlets. Saying that, it was John Barclay involved so maybe the one second eye was still stut! Wink

And unfortunately that's just not good enough at this level. It actually has to go between the posts. I'd be interested to know the actual stats for RP this year (and maybe last year). Each time Shingler comes on at 12, he takes over kicking duties.

Typical matowalo - great break then throw the intercept that costs 90 yards! He is really up for it tonight tho - obviously been licence to run everything. We are being treated to the full Fijian tonight and its always fun to watch. Great run from Nakawara, fantastic steal Yanawhotsit

More reason to change them. Both starting half-backs have been kicking poorly, and kick poor too regularly for my liking. Plus Matawalu needs a scrum half lesson from Davies Smile.

Aye, but RP's half arsed penalty attempt was closer to Edinburgh rather than the Glasgow posts.
