if you could make the call, what formation would you like to play? 4-3-3 with Fletcher or Anderson as the third man and Rooney up front by himself or the 4-4-1-1 that we used to beat Chelsea and Shalke? And Fabio or Rafael at right back, who would you prefer?

If it were me I'd perhaps opt for a fully fit Fletcher ahead of Carrick, but as I understand, he's recovering from an illness.

stick with the same team and formation that beat chelsea and schalke. if it aint broke dont fix it. we cant change our whole team just because its barca. we have to go out and play our way and little pea is needed to strecth the barca defence and threaten in behind. will also mean they cant push up to far for the fear of leaving too much spacein behind

Agree completely with compelling and rich. With tat formation, we outplayed Schalke and Chelsea over 2 legs, and change is showing that we fear Barca.

I felt before it Man United had to be brave and Fergie had to start with Nani and Valencia either side of Rooney with 3 in the middle of the park moving Park inside and leaving out Hernandez.

It was just to easy for Barcelona to dominate the middle of the park with the extra man in their and their was no one with the ability of Nani on the park to beat a man and make things happen for United.

Everyone is light years from that standard. Barcelona were quite fantastic last night, scary to think Messi is still only 23/24.
