Well done Venus!
Hello
For the uninitiated amongst the minions, I am known as the emancipator (in these lands at least).
I believe it is time to herald the magical resurgence of Venus.
Yes, this Celestial body which has for long hidden in the shadow of her brighter sibling, is rising once more. Her star shines bright down under!!
Venus has reached the quarter finals of a slam for the first time in 4 and a half years. I expect, like me, most people thought she was washed up. Her body a ravaged, dried old husk.
But she's back!
How far can she go? I think she can go all the way (although admittedly I haven't seen the draw)
Will there be an all Williams' final? Who will win?
What about the shriekereekerweekerpova? Is she still around?
What about that fit girl from Canada?
So who will wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin? Venus?

Re: Well done Venus!
I was thinking something similar to write.
It is truly a remarkable turn of events given her recent form over the years. I too thought she had washed up given her ranking hit as low as 102 in 2011. Out of the top 50 in 2013.
Just brilliant that she could win another Slam if she slays her evil sister!

Thought she was going to retire this time a year ago... how things change!

Re: Well done Venus!
Her evil sister was on the rack for a while last night against the young 21yr old Spaniard, who, if she had had a little more experience could have well snatched a victory. So Venus your sister is looking somewhat vulnerable at the moment.. here is your chance. Come out from the shadow.
